Abstract: A mobile terminal comprises: a body which comprises a first frame, and a second frame which is coupled so as to be movable in a first direction with respect to the first frame; a roller which is rotatably coupled to the second frame; a flexible display unit which has an image outputted on one surface thereof and comprises a front surface part positioned on the front surface of the body by wrapping around the roller, and a rear surface part positioned in the rear surface direction of the body; a support frame which is coupled to the other surface of the flexible display unit and comprises a flexible rack gear formed on the other surface thereof; and an auxiliary drive unit which comprises a pinion gear rotating by engaging with the flexible rack gear, wherein the auxiliary drive unit transfers force to the flexible rack gear in the direction in which the area of the rear surface part increases.
