  • Publication number: 20120278091
Abstract: One method can involve accessing a global database of sales cycle information. The global database comprises first confidential information for a first salesperson, where the confidential nature of the first information prevents the first information from being accessed by a second salesperson. The method then generates information indicating a lead for the second salesperson based upon the global database and, in particular, the first confidential information. The method can also generate information indicating a basis for the lead. In one embodiment, the first salesperson works in a different office than the second salesperson.

  • Publication number: 20110314128
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for using a browser history file to determine web site reach are disclosed. An example method includes receiving a message from a first computer at a second computer after a browser history at the first computer is populated with information, wherein the message includes an identity indication of the first computer and the browser history is maintained by browser functionality native to the browser and sending an application to the first computer from the second computer in response to the message, wherein, when the application is executed at the first computer, the application accesses the browser history, extracts a portion of the browser history, and inserts the extracted portion of the browser history into a communication directed to a third computer.

  • Patent number: 8042085
Abstract: A technique and apparatus for reducing the complexity of optimizing the performance of a designed semiconductor circuit is disclosed. This technique of path compaction is used to reduce the time taken for optimization. The path compaction tool is used in design optimization to reduce the optimizer execution time. Compaction helps readability, usability and reduces synthesis and static timing analyzer (STA) runtime. The aim of path compaction is to reduce the number of constraints the optimizer has to go through during the optimization process. Path compaction has three dimensions. The first is to reduce number of “-through” elements in the constraint, thereby reducing the complexity of constraints developed The second is to combine the paths to reduce the number of constraints. The third is to combine the constraints to reduce the number of constraints to be checked and optimized. Path compaction is used when generating timing exception using timing exception tools.

  • Patent number: 7747425
Abstract: A peak current modeling method and system for modeling peak current demand of an integrated circuit (IC) block such as, e.g., a compilable memory instance. A current demand curve associated with the IC for a particular IC block event is obtained via simulation, for example. A defined time region associated with the particular IC block event is divided into multiple time segments, whereupon at least a first current value and a second current value for each time segment is obtained based on the current demand curve. Thereafter, the current demand curve is approximated, on a segment-by-segment basis, using a select approximate waveform depending on a relationship between the first and second current values.

  • Publication number: 20100138770
Abstract: A metering system meters usage of on-line and local services by way of interactive service devices. An example metering system includes a first data acquisition module configured to copy usage data associated with a first interactive service device and a second data acquisition module configured to copy usage data associated with a second interactive service device different than the first interactive service device. Each of the data acquisition modules is configured to distinguish between on-line communications associated with access to an on-line service and local communications associated with a local application program. In addition, each data acquisition module is configured to extract the usage data based whether an on-line communication or a local communication is identified.

  • Patent number: 7680889
Abstract: In a method of metering Web usage, a collection program is downloaded from a server to a metered computer in response to a message transmitted from the metered computer to the server, and the collection program is executed on the metered computer in order to collect Web usage history information stored in a history file by a browser running on the metered computer. The collected Web site usage history information is transmitted by the metered computer to the server. The Web site usage history information is stored in the server along with Web site usage history information from other metered computers.
