  • Publication number: 20100306738
Abstract: A templating system is provided. The templating system separates the fixed and dynamic parts of a code from a template. The fixed part is maintained at the client end and the dynamic part is maintained at the server end of a network. The templating system processes the fixed parts, dynamic parts, and a data model together to generate a result document. The result document is updated at the client end in real time by transmitting only the dynamically changing components of the code from the server end to the client end.

  • Patent number: 7792039
Abstract: A system and method for establishing a plurality of Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) connections between a transmitting host and a receiving host and for sending data from the transmitting host to the receiving host. Congestion control is performed for the plurality of TCP connections using one congestion window on the transmitting host, wherein the congestion control for the plurality of TCP connections is performed by transmitting a selected number of TCP segments at a transmit time.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 1, 2009
Date of Patent: September 7, 2010
    Assignee: NetApp, Inc.
    Inventor: Manish Thakur
  • Patent number: 7719967
Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, providing cumulative TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) congestion control. One method includes establishing multiple TCP connections between a transmitting host and a receiving host for sending data from the transmitting host to the receiving host; and using one congestion window on the transmitting host to perform congestion control for the multiple TCP connections as a whole.

  • Patent number: 7234115
Abstract: An entertainment system and method including controllable components dispersed among a plurality of locations and each having attributes associated therewith, a plurality of interconnections between the controllable components, a plurality of user interface devices, and a controller that generates graphical user interfaces for the user interface devices for controlling the plurality of controllable components. The graphical user interfaces include commands for operating the controllable components that vary among the graphical user interfaces based on the locations of the user interface devices, and the controllable component attributes, locations and interconnections. The controller also automatically creates schematic diagrams, lists, views and test plans for the controlled components and/or the interconnections therebetween based upon the identification of the controlled components, and their attributes, locations and interconnections, to the controller.
