    Abstract: An electronic device may be provided with a display and other electrical components. The display may be covered with a display cover layer. A rear housing member, the display cover layer, and other structures in the device may be formed from a transparent member. Transparent members in the device may be covered with layers such as layers of ink. The ink may have a polymer with colorant such as dye or pigment. Light-scattering particles such as inorganic dielectric particles may be incorporated into the polymer. The inorganic dielectric particles may have cores formed from materials such as titanium dioxide and coatings that help prevent discoloration of the titanium dioxide and degradation of surrounding polymer when the inorganic dielectric particles are exposed to ultraviolet light.

A second value indicating a second projected ROP of the drill bit can be determined by providing the downhole data as input to a second machine-learning model. A third value indicating a third projected ROP of the drill bit can be determined by providing the first value and the second value input to a third machine-learning model. An operating characteristic of a well tool can be adjusted based on the third value.

    Abstract: A source of bias identification (SoBI) tool is provided that identifies sources of bias in a dataset. A bias detection operation is performed on results of a computer model, based on an input dataset, to generate groupings of values for a protected attribute corresponding to a detected bias in the operation of the computer model. The SoBI tool generates a plurality of sub-groups for each grouping of values. Each sub-group comprises an individual value, or a sub-range, for the protected attribute. The SoBI tool analyzes each of the sub-groups in the plurality of sub-groups, based on at least one source of bias identification criterion, to identify one or more sources of bias in the input dataset.     Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems and techniques for changing cryptographic keys in high-frequency transaction environments to mitigate service disruptions or loss of transactions associated with key maintenance. In various embodiments, a server device can employ a working key encrypted with a first master key to decrypt messages being communicated from a client device, whereby each message is encrypted with a first cryptogram that was generated based on the working key encrypted with the first master key. While the working key encrypted with the first master key is being employed, the server device can generate a notification including a second cryptogram generated based on the working key encrypted with a second master key for transmission to the client device. The transmitted notification can cause the client device to encrypt the messages being communicated with the second cryptogram.

While a first set of participants are communicating, a question may arise to be addressed to an additional participant not participating in the conference. The additional participant is presented with a message, such as a question, which may indicate the sender is the conference itself. The additional participant replies via their IM application which is delivered to each of the conference participants and optionally included in a recording of the conference.

The substrate is typically a substrate that is to be electroplated. The determination may be made directly in an electroplating apparatus, during an initial portion of an electroplating process. The determination may involve immersing the substrate in electrolyte with a particular applied voltage or applied current provided during or soon after immersion, and recording a current response or voltage response over this same timeframe. The applied current or applied voltage may be zero or non-zero. By comparing the current response or voltage response to a threshold current, threshold voltage, or threshold time, it can be determined whether the substrate included an unacceptably high amount of oxide on its surface. The threshold current, threshold voltage, and/or threshold time may be selected based on a calibration procedure.
