  • Publication number: 20110029686
Abstract: Capacity management is described. In an implementation, a method includes executing a module on a computing device to monitor use of a product during a measurement interval to determine a maximum capacity of the product used during the measurement interval and whether a capacity failure point is reached during the measurement interval. A learned capacity limit is set based on the monitoring for determining whether one or more of a plurality of clients, if any, are to receive a list which references at least the monitored product, wherein the learned capacity limit is set such that when the capacity failure point is not reached, the learned capacity limit is set according to the maximum capacity.

  • Patent number: 7880942
Abstract: A system that converts color coefficients between color spaces. During operation, the system receives a color profile comprising a lookup table which defines a conversion of color coefficients between a source color space and a destination color space, wherein the source color space includes a black color channel. Next, the system identifies a darkest output color value in the destination color space produced by the color profile, and also identifies entries in the lookup table corresponding to a maximum possible value for the black color channel of the source color space. The system then updates the identified entries with an achromatic equivalent of the identified darkest output color value, whereby source colors having the maximum possible value for the black color channel are mapped to the achromatic equivalent of the identified darkest output color value.

  • Publication number: 20110010593
Abstract: A output storage latch within a combinational logic circuit may be adapted to form a scan flip-flop latch that supports both functional operation and scan chain testing of a combinational logic matrix included in the combinational logic circuit. A described master/slave clock approach allows the scan flip-flop latch to support receiving into a scan chain a sequence of test input data, execution of combinational logic matrix testing based on the test input data, and sequentially outputting test results to a test result register for comparison with expected results. The described scan flip-flop latch may be used along side unaltered output storage latches thereby allowing flexibility with respect to the number and placement scan chain test points within an integrated circuit. Use of the described dual-use scan flip-flop latch results in a less complex circuit design, reduced circuit area requirements and improved reliability.

  • Publication number: 20110005229
Abstract: Embodiments of this invention provide a premixed pilot assembly for use with a fuel nozzle for a turbine. The level of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emitted by the pilot is reduced by mixing the fuel and air fast, at the end of the pilot nozzle, thereby avoiding significant zones of rich fuel and air mixtures. The air is mixed with the fuel through the use of openings in a first cylinder and a second cylinder, one of which carries air and one of which carries pilot fuel. The openings can be configured as necessary to obtain a desired effect on the pilot.
