Abstract: A method (900) for estimating boundaries of an OOI. The method includes obtaining (s902) a first point cloud comprising a set of N points. The method also includes obtaining (s904) a set of K images. The method also includes, for each point included in the set of N points, identifying (s906), for each one of the K images, the point's location within a 2D space corresponding to the image, thereby obtaining, for each point included in the set of N points, K location identifiers. The method also includes, for each point included in the set of N points, determining (s908) a motion metric for the point using the K location identifiers for the point. The method also includes using (s910) the N motion metrics to form a subset of the N points. The method also includes, for each point included in the subset of points, obtaining (s912) a location identifier for the point.

  • Publication number: 20230385159
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable media for preventing data loss at ephemeral and/or volatile storage of a local storage system are provided. These techniques may include synchronizing that state of the ephemeral storage system to a cloud-based storage system and capturing a cloud snapshot of the cloud-based storage system. In the event of a failure at the volatile storage, the cloud-based snapshot can be used as a restore point for the cloud-based storage system, the state of which can then be synchronized back to the volatile storage. Additionally, the local storage system includes durable storage for storing transaction logs. After synchronizing the state of the cloud-based storage system to the volatile storage, the local storage system can playback transactions in the transaction log to restore the volatile segment to the state at the time of the failure.

  • Patent number: 11830134
Abstract: A computer system generates an outline of a roof of a structure based on a set of lateral images depicting the structure. For each image in the set of lateral images, one or more rooflines corresponding to the roof of the structure are determined. The computer system determines how the rooflines connect to one another. Based on the determination, the rooflines are connected to generate an outline of the roof.

  • Patent number: 11828413
Abstract: A check valve bleed assembly eliminates the requirement for a person to enter the red zone when bleeding the grease out of a gate or other valve. A gas or other fluid is provided to the check valve bleed assembly. The gas or other fluid acts upon the surface driving a pin into the associated check valve with sufficient force to overcome the resistance of the object sitting on a seat and moves the object off of the seat. The force is maintained as long as is necessary. Usually, the check valve is held open until the gate transitions into the gate's associated gate recess thereby displacing the grease within the gate recess through the check valve, into the check valve bleed assembly, and finally to a waste collection tube. In some embodiments a gate valve greasing access port is included in the check valve bleed assembly such that grease may be injected into the check valve bleed assembly.

  • Patent number: 11829193
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to online learning against data poisoning attack. Conventional methods used data sanitization techniques for online learning against data poisoning attack. However, these methods do not remove poisoned data points from training dataset completely. Embodiments of the present disclosure method provide an influence based defense method for secure online learning against data poisoning attack. The method initially filters a subset of poisoned data points in the training dataset for training a machine learning model using data sanitization technique. Further the method computes an influence of the data points and performs an influence minimization based on a predefined threshold. Updated data points for the learning model are generated and used for training the machine learning model. The disclosed method can be used against data poisoning attacks in applications such as spam filtering, malware detection, recommender system and so on.

In one embodiment, a network architecture having service delivery over at least portions of extant infrastructure (e.g., a hybrid fiber coax infrastructure) is disclosed, which includes standards-compliant ultra-low latency and high data rate services (e.g., 5G NR services) via a common service provider. In one variant, an expanded frequency band (e.g., 1.6 GHz in total bandwidth) is used over the coaxial portions of the HFC infrastructure, which is allocated to two or more sub-bands. Wideband amplifier apparatus are used to support delivery of the sub-bands to extant HFC network nodes (e.g., hubs or distribution points) within the network. Premises devices are used to provide the 5G-based services to users at a given premises and thereabouts. In another variant, local area (e.g., “pole mounted”) radio devices are used to provide supplemental RF coverage, including during mobility scenarios.

  • Patent number: 11824760
Abstract: Both wireless communication and communications via a cable modem are supported between a network node and a customer premises. Alternative communications links provide redundancy and the possibility to take advantage of the different types of links capacity to provide a level of service that would not be possible using a single communications link to a customer premises. In various embodiments a network node, such as a cable network node hubsite, has an optical connection to the Internet or another communications network and provides network access to one or a plurality of customer premises. The network node includes a wireless access point, e.g., pole mounted base station, as well as one or more cable modem interfaces to thereby allow for both wireless and cable modem based communications. This allows for packets of different applications to traverse different links and/or to switch between links in the event of maintenance or reliability issues.

  • Patent number: 11822562
Abstract: Aspects described herein include systems and methods for determining addresses for assets, prioritizing the addresses for inspection by users, and applying natural language processing techniques to unstructured text input by the users. According to some aspects, a message may be received that includes unstructured text that was input by a user. The unstructured text may be associated with an inspection, by the user, of an address for an asset. One or more natural language techniques may be applied to the unstructured text to, among other things, facilitate the determination and sending of a response message to the unstructured text in an automated fashion. The response message may, if the asset was not found, include another address as a suggestion for the user to inspect for the asset. This suggested address may be determined based on changes to address priority that were caused by processing of the unstructured text.
