  • Publication number: 20230333936
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to generating backups of applications. The user or administrator that monitors the backup is notified of those files and/or folders that have not been backed up in the most recent backup. Further, embodiments of the invention enable alerts to be initiated when a particular file or folder has not been backed up over multiple backups or over a predetermined period. As a result, the user or administrator can have a better understanding of the protection and lack of protection that the present backups are providing.

  • Publication number: 20230334518
Abstract: A method and system determine a profile of a website. A record of visits by a group of profiled users to a web site is generated. Each of the profiled users has associated user demographic information. The profile for the website is calculated using the associated user demographic information and the record of visits. The profile consists of demographic characteristics of the web site. A website forecast is determined for a defined time period. The website forecast characterizes a target audience that consists of members of demographic subgroups with percentages in the website forecast that are greater than a predetermined threshold. A data or service is provided based on the calculated profile and website forecast.

  • Patent number: 11792305
Abstract: The warehouse control system (WCS) coordinates communication between communicating devices and systems. The WCS stores mappings of different message types that are transmitted between different components of a warehouse. The WCS accepts inbound messages from the components, parses the inbound messages, and handles the data accordingly. The WCS also transmits outbound messages to components of the warehouse. The WCS forms the outbound message according to protocols defined in the WCS. The WCS maps positions of each message to predefined data fields to define the message type. The mapping of the fields to positions of each message type defines the fields of the message for future message handling.

  • Patent number: 11790265
Abstract: Aspects of the present invention provide an approach for reducing bias in active learning. In an embodiment, a data point is selected from a training dataset for a current training iteration while monitoring for data bias at each addition of data to a virtual training dataset. In addition, a machine learning model is examined for bias after adding the selected data point to the virtual training dataset. When data bias and/or model bias is detected, the data point is considered for potential label modification. The selected data point is modified and, if the raw value of the modified data point is within a predefined tolerance and within a bin of a desired class, the modified data point having a label of the target class is retained. Otherwise, it can be discarded.

  • Publication number: 20230325360
Abstract: A method for synchronizing a local file system (LFS) and a remote (cloud) file system (RFS) includes the step of storing events indicative of differences between the LFS and the RFS, where the events are associated with file system objects of the LFS and RFS. The method further includes the steps of prioritizing the events, generating file system operations for the events based at least in part on the prioritization of the events, and performing at least some of the file system operations to synchronize the LFS and RFS. Prioritizing the events includes defining a plurality of service classes (e.g., based on type of event, event attribute, etc.), assigning a priority to each of the service classes, and assigning each event to one of said service classes. Systems are also described. The invention allocates limited synchronization resources based on a predefined policy to synchronize important file system objects sooner.
