  • Publication number: 20250130853
Abstract: System and computer-implemented method for processing operation requests in a computing environment uses an intent for an operation request received at a service instance that is submitted to an intent valet platform to process the operation request. The intent is queued in an intent table of intents and then retrieved for processing. The requested operation for the retrieved intent is delegated to the service for execution from the intent valet platform. When a completion signal from the service is received at the intent valet platform, the intent is marked as being in a terminal state.

  • Publication number: 20250036389
Abstract: System and computer-implemented method for managing software objects in a multi-cloud computing environment uses generated sync cycles for infra managers running in at least one cloud of the multi-cloud computing environment, where at least one of the sync cycles for a particular infra manager includes initial and update state information of software objects associated with the particular infra manager. The object updates of the sync cycles are published to an entity in the multi-cloud computing environment, where the object updates are processed and persistently stored in a database for consumption by a service of the entity.

  • Patent number: 10452430
Abstract: A method of migrating a virtualized computing instance between source and destination virtualized computing systems includes executing a first migration workflow in the source virtualized computing system between a source host computer and a first mobility agent simulating a destination host, executing a second migration workflow in the destination virtualized computing system between a second mobility agent simulating a source host and a destination host computer, sending, as part of the first migration workflow, a configuration of the migrated virtualized computing instance to the destination virtualized computing system, translating, as part of the second migration workflow, infrastructure-dependent information in the configuration of the migrated virtualized computing instance, and transferring, during execution of the first and second migration workflows, migration data including the virtualized computing instance between the source host and the destination host over a network.

  • Patent number: 9141519
Abstract: Consistent with the present disclosure, a block of software code or “software code block” that is executed while particular tests are carried out is assigned a software code block identifier, which is associated with test identifiers, which, in turn, identify the tests that were performed. The software code block identifiers and corresponding test identifiers are then stored in a database. When a portion of the software code block is later modified, either by a change to one or more lines of the code or by deleting or adding code, the corresponding software code block identifier is determined or selected, and then used to access the corresponding test identifiers from the database. The test identifiers are then used to generate a report, for example, that lists each test to be performed in order to determine whether the modified software code block operates properly.

  • Patent number: 8819206
Abstract: An article including at least one computer readable medium storing a network management application comprising computer executable code that upon execution by one or more processors causes the one or more processors to receive and execute the computer executable code of the network management application to store an identifier indicative of a candidate service in a database, receive the information indicative of managed entities from the one or more input devices, transform the data indicative of the managed entities into neutral data structure represented by graphs, vertices and edges, store these neutral data structures in the database and determine whether the telecommunication network is configured to execute the candidate service by applying predetermined rules on these neutral data structures.
