    Abstract: The hybrid-type knee prosthesis apparatus which is mounted on the knee portion of a patient with femoral amputation to assist in walking includes a knee joint module connected to a lower leg prosthesis of the patient with femoral amputation; a rotary hydraulic cylinder operatively coupled to the knee joint module and pivotally rotating the knee joint module by pivot rotation of a rotation shaft; an electric motor for providing active power to the rotary hydraulic cylinder; a driving cable for operatively connecting the rotary hydraulic cylinder and the electric motor to each other; and a control module for controlling to operate in any one mode of a passive mode in which the rotary shaft provided in the rotary hydraulic cylinder is pivotally rotated by a hydraulic pressure formed inside the rotary hydraulic cylinder or an active mode in which the rotating shaft is pivotally rotated by the active power.

A hybrid artificial limb device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention comprises: a joint upper side connection member positioned at the upper side of a knee; a knee joint member connected to the joint upper side connection member; and a frame coupled to the knee joint member to be able to perform a pivot rotation, and forming a femoral part. When the frame performs a pivot rotation about the knee joint member, the passive power from the passive driving module and the active power from the active driving module may be selectively or simultaneously provided to the knee joint member.
