    Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for displaying information (e.g., statistical information, status information, video images, etc.) associated with audio/video data in a user interface created in a browser window. A browser may download a markup language file associated with a script, the script being executable to create the user interface in the browser. The user interface includes display components to display the information associated with the audio/video data. The user interface also includes control components to control a source containing the audio/video data, which may include a compact disc (CD) drive, a digital video disc (DVD) drive, or other media.
