Upon a borrower sending a request for financial assistance to a financial entity, the financial entity is provided with a set of transactions (maintained in the blockchain) related to the borrower. The borrower receives a response indicating a decision on the request for financial assistance, the decision being based on at least some of the set of transactions provided to the financial entity.
