Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, apparatuses and systems for placing a range extender (RE) based on a distance between the RE and an access point (AP). An RE may determine a distance between the RE and AP based on round trip timing (RTT) information. In some aspects, the RE may exchange fine timing measurement (FTM) frames with the AP. The RE may determine a distance between itself and the AP based on the RTT information. Based on the distance between the RE and AP, the RE may provide a coarse placement indicator for improving the RE's location. The RE also may determine a signal strength or channel state information (CSI) with respect to the AP. Based on the signal strength or the CSI, the RE may provide a fine placement indicator indicating the RE may be placed nearer or further from the AP, or remain at its current location.

Abstract: A system and method for sequential single-sided CMP processing of opposite facing surfaces of a silicon carbide (SiC) substrate are disclosed. A method includes urging a first surface of a substrate against one of plurality of polishing pads, wherein the plurality of polishing pads are disposed on corresponding ones of a plurality of rotatable polishing platens. The method includes transferring, using the first side of the end effector, the substrate from the substrate carrier loading station to a substrate alignment station. The method includes transferring, using the first side of the end effector, the substrate from the substrate alignment station to a substrate carrier loading station. The method includes urging a second surface of the substrate against one of the plurality of polishing platens.

Abstract: Disclosed are solid, shaped food products containing non-dairy protein. An example of the disclosed food product is a protein bar containing salt-precipitated plant proteins (e.g., from pea) at levels approaching or surpassing 20 or more grams per 60 gram protein bar. The protein bars with this high level of plant-based protein have an appealing appearance, are neutral in flavor with no bitter aftertaste, have good texture and are hypoallergenic or non-allergenic.

Abstract: Various systems and methods for bus-off attack detection are described herein. An electronic device for bus-off attack detection and prevention includes bus-off prevention circuitry coupled to a protected node on a bus, the bus-off prevention circuitry to: detect a transmitted message from the protected node to the bus; detect a bit mismatch of the transmitted message on the bus; suspend further transmissions from the protected node while the bus is analyzed; determine whether the bit mismatch represents a bus fault or an active attack against the protected node; and signal the protected node indicating whether a fault has occurred.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a biocompatible task specific hybrid solvent (TSHS) composition that synergistically increases the carbon capture efficiency and utilizes less energy for CO2 desorption over the existing solutions. Further, the process of synthesizing such composition is discussed in this disclosure. Also, the present disclosure provides a process that involves a task specific hybrid solvent (TSHS) composition for selective capturing CO2 from any gaseous stream.

Abstract: A method and server system for facilitating customer engagement with an enterprise is disclosed. The server system receives a signal indicative of a request for registering a customer with an enterprise. In response to the receipt of the request, the server system generates an enterprise virtual customer identifier (EVCI), which is configured to map the customer uniquely to information related to a profile of the customer. The EVCI is transmitted to the customer on successful registration of the customer. The EVCI is stored in at least one digital wallet application installed in an electronic device associated with the customer. The stored EVCI in the digital wallet application is configured to facilitate at least one engagement with the enterprise over one or more messaging channels.

Abstract: A system and method for updating a cluster of a virtual computing system includes receiving a maintenance window from a user during which to upgrade the cluster, determining available upgrades for the cluster, presenting one or more upgrade plans to the user, such that each of the one or more upgrade plans is created to be completed within the maintenance window and includes one or more of the available upgrades selected based on a total upgrade time computed for each of the available upgrades, receiving selection of one of the one or more upgrade plans from the user, and upgrading the cluster based on the one of the one or more upgrade plans that is selected.

Abstract: In a fronthaul network system, when a CPRI link fault is detected at either of the REC or RE, both the REC and RE perform a Layer 1 synchronization. The fault may be a loss of signal, loss of frame, or a line code violation, which also translates to a loss of signal if seen beyond a threshold. A proxy slave recognizes the fault in a CPRI signal from a first radio device and inserts the fault alarm into a header of a radio over Ethernet frame. The proxy slave continues to communicate the signal for a configured number of hyper-frames. A proxy master receives the signal and communicates the signal and the fault alarm to a receiving radio device for a configured number of hyper-frames. The proxy and radio devices all perform a joint resynchronization.

The control unit helps to monitor and control all three essential vulcanizing parameters viz. temperature, pressure and time, either locally or through remote access. Data logging, local monitoring & control of vulcanizing parameters or remote monitoring and control of vulcanizing parameters using a smart device are the major features of this control unit in which remote monitoring and control of vulcanizing parameters is the unique feature of this control unit. A video recording unit is also provided to record entire splicing operation and also there is option for online video streaming facility and it will help to monitor the entire splicing operation from a remote-control station.

According to one embodiment, a method for creating user-controlled fragmentation of data stored in one or more storage media can comprise receiving a plurality of parameters defining the user-controlled fragmentation of the data stored in the one or more storage media, determining a first random number, and creating a first file on the one or more storage media. The first file can be initially empty. Abstract: A method for controlling a renewable energy power plant comprising a plurality of renewable energy generators, the method comprising: carrying out the following steps dynamically: determining a reactive power capability value of the power plant based on the generated active power of each of the renewable energy generators within the power plant; determining a reactive power exchange limit value based on a measured grid voltage level; and controlling the power plant so that the generated reactive power does not exceed the lower of the determined reactive power capability value and the determined reactive power exchange limit value that are determined dynamically.
