Abstract: A snow grooming device suitable for grooming ski hills, trails, or other snow park areas is provided with one or more of a series of improved electronic controls and/or instrumentation that can include track adjustment position control, tiller pressure control, ignition control and data collection, slope angle, halfpipe tool angle, tiller positioning, winch operational data, figure-8 counter, snow profiler, vehicle trace, and weather information. Depending on the particular result desired and the actual operating conditions, these controllers and instruments can be used independently or, in various combinations to improve the performance of the device, the efficiency of the snow grooming operation, the life of particular components, and the information available for the evaluation and tracking of slope condition.
