Abstract: Described herein is a computing device for applying merchant promotions to a push payment transaction. The computing device includes a processor and a memory. The processor is configured to receive a promotion request message. The promotion request message includes a merchant ID and an initial push payment transaction amount. The processor retrieves, from the memory, a merchant promotion and applies the retrieved merchant promotion to an initial transaction amount to determine an updated transaction amount. The processor then transmits a promotion response message, receives an authorization message and initiates a transfer of funds. The promotion response message includes the merchant ID and the updated transaction amount. The authorization message authorizes the push payment transaction in the updated transaction amount. The funds are transferred in the updated payment amount from the user account with the originating institution to the merchant account at the receiving institution.

Abstract: A computer device configured to install computer applications is provided. The computer device includes at least one processor in communication with at least one memory device. The at least one processor is programmed to receive a request to install a first application on a user computer device. The at least one processor is also programmed to scan at least one memory device of the user computer device for a device token associated with a second application. Upon detection of the device token, the at least one processor is programmed to retrieve the device token from the at least one memory device of the user computer device. The at least one processor is further programmed to validate the retrieved device token. Upon validation of the device token, the at least one processor is also programmed to install the first application and associate the device token with the first application.

Abstract: Electronic payment card processing systems and methods include at least one host computing device that accepts transaction data as payment card transactions are made and processed over the multi-party payment processing network. Based on the accepted transaction data, the host computing device identifies a first payment card transaction between a first enrolled cardholder and a first enrolled merchant that includes a delivery of a first good to a location that is within a predefined geographic area including the first enrolled merchant. The host computing device retrieves at least one incentive offer relating to a second enrolled merchant and involving a delivery of a second good within the predefined geographic area, and sends the at least one incentive offer to additional enrolled cardholders within the predefined geographic area.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for use in facilitating network transactions. In connection therewith, a server receives a request from an application of a requestor mobile device and polls sender mobile devices for location data, where a subset of the sender mobile devices is within a defined distance of the requestor mobile device. The server then receives a response from one of the subset of sender mobile devices and presents the response to the application of the requestor mobile device. Upon acceptance of the response, the server transmits the acceptance to the sender mobile device, thereby enabling delivery of an amount requested to a requestor user associated with the requestor mobile device in exchange for a digital transaction from an account of the requestor user to an account of a sender user associated with the sender mobile device.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for using network data in an automated delivery system is provided. The method is implemented using a delivery validation server in communication with a memory. The method includes receiving an online order originating from a user computer device. The online order includes a delivery address and network information associated with a wireless network associated with the delivery address. The method also includes configuring a delivery device based on the network information and the delivery address, and receiving a delivery confirmation message transmitted from the delivery device through the wireless network associated with the delivery address. The delivery device is connected to the wireless network based on the network information.

Abstract: A method and system for recommending financial instruments in a payment processing network are provided. A purchase recommender computing device is programmed to receive a payment request including a user identifier associated with a user profile for a user, wherein the payment request is generated in response to a wallet system initiating the payment transaction, retrieve, from an instrument management computing device, a financial instrument portfolio associated with the user profile, the financial instrument portfolio including data regarding a plurality of financial instruments available for the user to use in relation to the payment transaction, determine a recommended financial instrument for the payment transaction, determine a final financial instrument based on the recommended financial instrument, generate a modified payment request by updating the payment request to include the final financial instrument, and transmit the modified payment request for the payment transaction.

Abstract: A system for image-based purchase recommendation is disclosed. The system can include a memory storing computer program code and at least one processor, wherein the computer program code is configured to cause the system to receive a digital image corresponding to an item of interest, analyze the digital image, and identify one or more corresponding recommended products. The system can determine one or more merchants that offer one or more recommended products. The system can organize the identified merchants based on an availability of additional services offered by the merchants or based on services offered by one or more issuers, form a list of recommended merchants and transmit the recommended products, list of merchants, and the address (physical and/or internet) of each merchant, to a user device.

Abstract: A digital wallet server computer communicates with a digital wallet application program running on a payment-enabled mobile device. The entry of the mobile device into a country that is foreign to the user's country of residence is detected. The server computer receives transaction information regarding VAT-bearing payment account transactions via the wallet application. The total amount of VAT charged to the user during a trip to the foreign country is calculated. The server computer receives an indication of the user's departure from the foreign country and then initiates a payment account credit transaction to refund the total VAT into the user's payment account.

Abstract: A method includes storing interaction data related to a first user and at least one other user. The interaction data is indicative of interactions among mobile devices operated by the users. The method further includes generating respective ranking data for each of the other users besides the first user. The ranking data is derived from the interaction data pursuant to at least one ranking rule. In addition, the method includes storing transaction data for the other users. The transaction data indicates product purchases made by the other users. An offer or product recommendation is selected based at least in part on the ranking data and the transaction data. The offer or product recommendation is transmitted to the first user.

Abstract: Provided are a system and method for authenticating a transaction. The authentication method may be performed by a user computing device, and may include providing, to a merchant device, account information for payment of a transaction, receiving, from the merchant device, a request to authenticate the transaction using payment software of the user device, and executing the payment software in a virtual environment. The executed payment software may authenticate, with an external server, that the account is paired with the payment software of the user device, and transmit a result of the authenticating to a payment network.

Abstract: An enrollment of a receiver in a biometric authentication system is obtained. The receiver is challenged with a pre-remittance biometric challenge from the biometric authentication system prior to initiating a remittance to the receiver. An indication is obtained that the remittance has at least been initiated to a financial account of the receiver. The indication includes successful completion of the pre-remittance biometric challenge by the receiver. Responsive to obtaining the indication, at least one payee is automatically paid from the financial account.

Abstract: A computer-based method for providing promotional content to a user based on attributes of digital content purchased by the user is provided. The method includes receiving enrollment data for a user in response to the user enrolling in a digital wallet application. The method further includes, storing the enrollment data, and receiving digital wallet transaction data as part of a digital wallet transaction for digital content, the digital wallet transaction initiated by the user using the digital wallet application. The method further includes determining at least one content attribute associated with the digital content, storing the at least one content attribute, determining, based at least in part on the at least one content attribute, a content affinity for the user, selecting promotional content that matches the content affinity, and causing the selected promotional content to be presented to the user.

Abstract: A computer-based method for collecting digital wallet data from a digital wallet transaction initiated by a user is provided. The method includes receiving registration data for a user in response to the user registering into a digital wallet application, wherein the registration data includes demographic data and device registration data including a device identifier used for identifying the user device when in communication with another computing device. The ES computing device further receives secondary purchase data for at least one secondary purchase made by the user from the one or more secondary merchants and determines whether the user has requested to cancel the primary purchase. When the user has requested to cancel the primary purchase, the ES computing device automatically cancels the at least one secondary purchase. When the user has not requested to cancel the primary purchase, the ES computing device processes payment transactions for the primary purchase and the at least one secondary purchase.

Abstract: An authentication computing device including at least one processor in communication with a memory is provided. The processor stores, within the memory, an authentication profile associated with an account holder. The authentication profile includes an account identifier associated with a payment account of the account holder and authentication information. The processor further receives an authentication request associated with the payment account and a payment card action request from a requestor for a payment card action to be performed through an automated teller machine (ATM). The processor also retrieves the stored authentication profile, generates an authentication challenge based on the authentication profile, transmits the authentication challenge to a client device and/or the ATM, receives an authentication response from the requestor, and determines an authentication result based, at least in part, on the authentication response.
