Abstract: A device having a rod implement configured to extend across an edge of a peripheral portion of a brim or visor of a cap. The rod implement has an outer surface configured to provide a visible portion of said rod implement. A decorative element joined with said outer surface. An inner surface configured to engage the edge of the peripheral portion. A channel section with a generally concave shape that is configured to receive the edge of the peripheral portion. And, a fastening mechanism configured to join with said inner surface, wherein said fastening mechanism is deformable upon engagement with the edge of the peripheral portion, and wherein said deformation is configured to create a spring tensioned force that firmly retains said device to the edge of the periphery portion.
