    Abstract: A solar power system includes a steam turbine with a plurality of pressure stages, a first solar field for heating water or water steam, and a first heat exchanger. The first heat exchanger is operated with molten salt liquids. Further, with a method of operating such a solar power system, water steam from the first solar field is transferred to the first heat exchanger, where the water steam is heated by the first heat exchanger and routed to a high pressure stage of the steam turbine.
