  • Patent number: 11890566
Abstract: An atmospheric aerosol coalescer (AAC) is a device for collecting water from cooling tower plumes, fog. The AAC may include tapered spiral tube body with a helix shaped skin for atmospheric aerosol to pass through. Micro-droplets of water in air, as in cooling tower plumes, fog, separate inside the AAC due to large density difference and centrifugal forces inside the spiral tube. 3-100-micron diameter water micro-droplets may grow to 1000-4000 micron drops by coalescence on the internal walls of the AAC. Big drops detach to a drain at its base and fall through a spout to a collection pond. A number of AAC arrays may be supported by a net or an inflated pad. The net or inflated pad may be lifted by a tethered aerostat.

  • Publication number: 20180280849
Abstract: A tethered aerostat is provided to cause turbulence and coalescence of liquid micro-droplets in the atmosphere to form larger drops that adhere to aerostat solid surface for collection and delivery to designated location for drinking and other uses. Apparatus may also produce renewable energy from wind turbines at higher elevations where the wind speed is higher than conventional wind turbines.

  • Publication number: 20150223409
Abstract: A desalination greenhouse includes a method of fresh water production hybridized with growth and production of a crop. The co-location of a growing crop can provide additional economic incentive to a hybrid system, and provide a moisture enhancement to an internal atmosphere which can be utilized to more efficiently produce and yet benefit from the production of water without the salt content, and as well to concentrate the salt content of brine which is used in another salt production operation. A further substantial achievement could be obtained by desalinization of water by using renewable energy economically and saving 95% of water normally used in open field irrigation of crops.

  • Publication number: 20140102645
Abstract: This invention relates to apparatus for a methods of crystallization of salt from brine on top of any soil surface, including repeating spraying of a ground surface, evaporation in air, controlling a moisture depth, capillary action and enhanced renewable energy to grow a layer of salt which can be collected. The brine is pumped from an underground source, sprayed in ambient air over a solid surface at a rate to either produce salt upon the ground and, if water is not completely evaporated, allowed to seep through the surface to saturate the capillary zone. In the use of a structural truss extension, a plastic or PVC pipe is isolated from the truss extension as the truss extension carries it about a hub with flow rate and speed to produce salt on the ground.

  • Publication number: 20130192131
Abstract: A desalination greenhouse of the invention provides both winter and summer crop growing operations and to produce a source of potable water given an input of only brackish or sea water. A consistency of temperature is produced by insulation and compensating absorption of heat in summer, with the release of heat in winter to keep crops more isothermal, but without obstructing natural light transmission to the crops. A very thin layer of brackish or salt water is evaporated from an inner shell and condensed onto an outer shell. Supplemental heat exchange can be applied to cool water used for crop irrigation.

  • Patent number: 8414662
Abstract: This invention relates to apparatus for a method of crystallization of salt from brine on top of any soil surface through airborne brine droplet crystallization, controlled moisture depth, capillary action and enhanced renewable energy to grow a layer of salt which can be collected. The brine is pumped from an underground source, sprayed in ambient air over a solid surface and, if water is not completely evaporated, allowed to seep through the surface to saturate the capillary zone. Water is evaporated while the sprayed brine is in the air or on the surface where capillary action brings it up to the surface for the water component to be evaporated by net heat gained from the environment resulting in salt crystallization. The evaporation of sprayed brine is enhanced by smaller droplet size, residence time due the spray height and wind machines to reduce humidity and increase natural thermal input.

  • Patent number: 5934902
Abstract: The oral cleansing device assembly is an oral hygiene tool which relies upon weak strength and small sized magnets in order to effect a change in the resonance and/or polarity of the water molecules such that the water is effective for cleaning debris, scale, and plaque from the teeth, gums, tongue, and oral cavity in general. The oral cleansing device assembly has a non-metallic housing which contains the magnets and tubing through which water passes when the device is in operation; the housing also doubles as a handle. The oral cleansing device assembly has jet-tips for discharging the water into an oral cavity; the jet-tips are attachable to a quick-connector within the housing of the oral cleansing device assembly. The oral cleansing device assembly is ideal and safe to use for any adult or child who seeks to avoid exposure to electromagnetic fields and who wishes to avoid use of high water pressure in their mouth care routine.
