  • Publication number: 20240130878
Abstract: A proximal stent-graft retention system includes a stent-graft having a suture loop attached to a proximal end of the stent-graft and a delivery catheter having a distal tip that includes a retention feature. The retention feature can include a slot extending through a sidewall of the distal tip and a trigger wire. The slot of the distal tip exposes a portion of the trigger wire within the tip lumen such that the trigger wire may extend through the suture loop of the stent-graft at the slot of the distal tip of the delivery catheter and is configured to retain the proximal end of the stent-graft in the radially expanded configuration via the suture loop to prevent distal migration and compression of the stent-graft. Proximal retraction of the trigger wire releases the suture loop of the stent-graft such that the stent-graft is no longer coupled to the delivery catheter.

  • Publication number: 20240033068
Abstract: An endovascular stent graft cover for delivering a stent graft to a target deployment site. The endovascular stent graft cover includes a tubular inner layer and a tubular outer layer. The stent graft cover also includes a tubular torsion layer disposed between the tubular inner layer and the tubular outer layer. The tubular torsion layer includes first wires and second wires. The first wires have a flat profile along a first longitudinal axis of the first wires. The second wires have a circular profile along a second longitudinal axis of the second wires. The tubular torsion layer is configured to radially align at the target deployment site the stent graft loaded into a distal portion of the stent graft cover.

  • Publication number: 20240016632
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method including positioning a first guidewire within a primary guidewire lumen of a multi-lumen tapered tip. A second guidewire is positioned within a secondary guidewire lumen and a shared guidewire lumen of the multi-lumen tapered tip, the second guidewire preventing the first guidewire from entering the shared guidewire lumen. A delivery system including the multi-lumen tapered tip is advanced over the second guidewire. By advancing the delivery system over a single guidewire, any possibility of entanglement of multiple guidewires during advancement of the delivery system is eliminated. The method further includes a guidewire exchange including releasing the second guidewire from the shared guidewire lumen, advancing the first guidewire through and out of the shared guidewire lumen, and advancing the delivery system over the first guidewire to a deployment location.

  • Publication number: 20230190502
Abstract: An endovascular delivery system for delivering a stent graft within a blood vessel. The delivery system includes a guide member configured to carry the stent graft into the blood vessel and a graft cover configured to cover at least a portion of the stent graft as the guide member is inserted into the blood vessel. The stent graft including a first end and a second end, the first end closer to a proximal end of the endovascular delivery system than the second end. The guide member includes a body having an elongated shape and a non-uniform outer periphery. The non-uniform outer periphery is configured to secure a first end of the stem graft in a first position, relative to a deployment location thin the blood vessel, to hold the first end of the stent graft in the first position as the graft cover is retracted to deploy the stent graft.
