Abstract: A method for issuing supplementary cards includes a first request received by a server for issuing a virtual supplementary card in real time to a beneficiary. The virtual supplementary card is to be linked to a primary card of a primary card holder. The first request includes information of the beneficiary and is initiated by the primary card holder from a first digital account created on a first application. The server validates the information of the beneficiary and generates the virtual supplementary card in real time. The server provides the virtual supplementary card to the beneficiary. The virtual supplementary card is accessible to the beneficiary by way of a second digital account for performing one or more transactions.
