  • Patent number: 11924904
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for using dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) optimization for supporting Wi-Fi connectivity in a network of moving things. Wi-Fi connectivity of a mobile access point (MAP) configured for deployment within a vehicle may be managed, with the managing including applying, in one or both of the mobile access point (MAP) and a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) server, one or more timing measures for shortening an amount of time needed to obtain a DHCP lease associated with at least one of a plurality of Wi-Fi access points in the network, and one or more optimization measures for optimizing at least one parameter used by the mobile access point (MAP) to secure DHCP lease for connecting to a particular Wi-Fi access point from the plurality of Wi-Fi access points.

  • Publication number: 20240025195
Abstract: Glass printing machine with continuous glass transport comprising a loading station (1), viewing means (2) or a mechanical positioning system, a printing bridge (3), and an unloading station (4), where the machine comprises an upper level (9) arranged above a lower level (10), with a series of carriages (11) running continuously driven by linear motors (6) in one direction on the upper level (9) and in the opposite direction on the lower level (10); to achieve this change of direction there are lifting and lowering drives which in one embodiment comprise a first vertical drive (7) in the loading station (1) and a second vertical drive (8) in the unloading station (4). Achieving a machine with a precision of less than 0.1 mm that can be used for large loads.

  • Publication number: 20230278348
Abstract: A machine for digital printing of glass sheets on their entire surface, including their border, comprising a printing table (1), a printing carriage (2) that travels along the printing table (1) on a number of travel guides (3), and a printing bridge (4) associated with the printing carriage (2) on which printing modules or heads (5) travel, characterized in that it has a head controller (6) that manages up to four encoders, which allows four simultaneous printing modes: Modality 1 along the X axis in single pass. Modality 2 along the Y axis in single pass. Modality 3 along the X axis in multipass. Modality 4 along the Y axis in multipass.

  • Patent number: 4834456
Abstract: A rear headrest adjusting arrangement in a motor vehicle has a headrest pivot bearing unit that is fixed at the seat and at which two head pad holding devices are disposed that are spaced away from one another in the direction of the pivotal axis. A pivot bearing shaft is provided that has two connecting parts for the holding devices, the connecting parts being spaced away from one another and being connected with the pivot bearing shaft in a torsionally fixed way. A driving motor is provided adjacent to the pivot bearing shaft, the driving motor having a motor shaft that with respect to its axis is parallel to the pivot bearing shaft and having a gearbox that connects the motor shaft with the pivot bearing shaft. This provides the possibility of a motor-driven headrest adjusting arrangement with little installation space for the pivot bearing unit.

  • Patent number: 4631864
Abstract: A Bowden cable-window lifter for motor vehicles which includes a cable drive, at the housing of which is supported a cable drum adapted to be driven. The cable is guided in a closed loop starting from the cable drum to an entrainment member carrying the window and back to the cable drum. The cable sections starting from the housing are each guided in a Bowden casing, whereby the Bowden casing-end supported at the housing by way of a connecting member and the cable drum are displaceably supported relative to one another in the direction of the drum axis in such a manner that with a rotation of the cable drum the instantaneous cable starting point of the cable section at the drum always assumes essentially the axial position. In order to achieve this displaceability with simple structural means, the respective connecting member is movably supported at the housing essentially parallel to the drum axis. The cable takes along the respective connecting member during a cable drum rotation.
