  • Patent number: 11118570
Abstract: The present invention relates to a support structure for wind-driven power generators comprising a tubular tower (1) with multiple superposed, post-tensioned annular sections (20) from the crown to the foundation, each being formed by at least two pieces of prefabricated concrete wall (10) defining between them vertical joints (12), each wall piece (10) having two transverse joint faces (13) and two vertical joint faces (14); wherein in the vertical joints (12), the vertical joint faces are arranged facing one another and lack structural connectors between them for the transmission of structural stresses, allowing for an independent structural behavior of the mentioned wall pieces (10), the height of the wall pieces (10) being less than twice their width.

  • Patent number: 10401270
Abstract: Method of design and manufacturing concrete structures subjected to relevant cyclic loads along their service lives, as wind towers, and a fatigue testing machine. The method consists on the design of concrete structures conditioned by cyclic loads considering a fatigue strength value specified by the project as one of the main design parameters, which will be verified during the manufacturing phase as one of the control parameters of the quality assurance plan by performing fatigue strength test on concrete samples representative of the concrete structural elements produced on said manufacturing phase. The method allows to decouple the concrete fatigue strength from the compressive strength of the material, which is why includes a verification of the fatigue strength as a part of a quality assurance plan of production according to a new developed procedure.

  • Patent number: 9869300
Abstract: A foundation for wind turbine tower and a pre-assembly method for the tower, in which the tower comprises sections divided into shell segments, and where the foundation comprises a pile cap with an upper base, a lower base and a slanted surface, with the upper base having a smaller area than the lower base. The foundation comprises a set of support elements that extend above the slanted surface of the pile cap arranged so that free upper surfaces of these support elements provide a support surface for the shell segments for the pre-assembly of a section, and a set of slender connection elements that are connected to the pile cap and whose open end is configured connect to the shell segments of a section.

  • Patent number: 9163613
Abstract: A series of spans of column shaft (1) with a frustoconical shape, each span integrating two or more parts (2) and (3) with a polygonal or circular section formed with pieces prestressed in a bed in the factory, with centered or slightly deviated prestressing (4) and non-prestressed reinforcement (5) in the perimeter of the section or fibers, attached by means of wet or dry longitudinal joints (6), rotated in plan view or not, and transverse joints (7) which can be at different levels and provide continuity or not to the general prestressing, for a joining by means of steel bars (12), and in the case of the attachment to the foundation with direct positioning of the starter bars at the time said foundation is built, or by means of jacket tubes which will subsequently receive the mentioned bars (16).
