Abstract: A medical device for the insertion of a tube, with which a tube is introduced from the oral or nasal cavity to the oesophagus of a patient. The device includes tubing and an inlet body, the inlet body is adapted to be arranged between the posterior pharynx and the upper third of the oesophagus of a patient, and the inlet body is joined to the tubing at a point along the vertical dimension thereof; the tubing and the inlet body also being in connection through a through hole which communicates them internally.
