  • Publication number: 20230215039
Abstract: The subject matter disclosed herein is generally directed towards systems and methods for estimating vehicle attitude information using position data of stars and astronomical objects in the sky. Considerable advantages may be realized by equipping vehicles with low-cost star trackers adequate for filtering images based on statistical-based techniques, which could provide a robust and reliable attitude determination. The methods described herein provide algorithms to reduce the amount of processing capacity and memory for finding stars and astronomical objects. In some instances, the provided systems and methods allow the prediction of the next location of the stars and/or other astronomical objects to enhance the search by looking for them at the predicted location. The algorithms may be applied in real-time and are suitable for movable platforms with limited resources such as satellites and spacecraft.

  • Publication number: 20230139885
Abstract: The present invention provides therapeutics for the treatment of CD22-positive cancers such as B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). In particular, the present invention provides an anti-CD22 monoclonal antibody whose scFv as a part of chimeric antigen receptors (CAR) T-cells can target the first Ig extracellular domain of the CD22 antigen, the farthest domain from the membrane, for use in the treatment of CD22-positive cancers.

  • Patent number: 11572834
Abstract: Gas turbine engine including a nacelle and an engine core within the nacelle. The engine core defines a principal rotational axis along its length. The engine core and nacelle define a bypass passage therebetween. The gas turbine engine further includes a cooling system including a cooling duct, which duct defines an inlet for receiving bypass air from the bypass passage at an upstream location and an outlet for discharging the bypass air at a downstream location. The cooling duct extends, relative to the principal axis, axially and circumferentially around a section of the engine core. The cooling duct comprises: first portion that extends at least axially relative to the principal rotational axis; second portion downstream of the first portion that extends circumferentially around the engine core relative to the principal rotational axis; and third portion downstream of second portion that extends at least axially relative to the principal rotational axis.

  • Patent number: 11427372
Abstract: Polymeric container includes a base defining a support surface and a sidewall extending upwardly from the base. The sidewall has at least a first contact portion extending about a perimeter of the sidewall. The sidewall includes a raised surface pattern at a select area proximate the first contact portion. The raised surface pattern includes a plurality of protrusions extending outwardly from the sidewall and having an outer surface. Each protrusion is spaced apart from adjacent protrusions within the selected area, and a shortest distance between each protrusion and any of the adjacent protrusions is less than a greatest surface dimension of the outer surface of each protrusion.

  • Patent number: 11300436
Abstract: A fluid sensing apparatus is provided having a fluid flow channel having a flow restriction. A fluid sensor is in fluid communication with first and second fluid ports, and a laminar flow element. The laminar flow element includes a flow stabilisation rod which defines a fluid sensing portion of the fluid flow channel. The flow restriction comprises a reduction in the hydraulic diameter of the fluid sensing portion of the fluid flow channel which is caused by a decrease in diameter of the fluid flow channel, or by an increase in the diameter of the flow stabilisation rod, or by both a decrease in diameter of the fluid flow channel and an increase in the diameter of the flow stabilisation rod. Also provided is a mass flow controller including such a fluid sensing apparatus.

  • Patent number: 10587520
Abstract: Computer connectivity is dependent on network availability. When networks are offline, relocating systems and data to an available network is an inefficient, time consuming, and error prone process. A system and method is disclosed for instant IP sharing and relocation between geographical locations by combining BGP announcement in one or multiple locations and applying stateless NAT to the IP traffic. Thereby, IP traffic is redirected to the desired location and delivered to the final device using the shared/relocated IP address. This system and method allows a single IP address to actively respond to network requests from numerous locations which can be spread around the globe.
