  • Patent number: 9665075
Abstract: Guidance System for controlling output variables of single-input single-output or multi-input multi-output processes, where the process parameters are known or unknown and time-varying. The guidance system of the present invention generates a desired trajectory for a process output variable, and based on said desired trajectory, computes a set point for the derivative variable of said process output variable. This set point is then applied to a model based advanced controller for said derivative variable and the control action generated by said model based advanced controller is applied to the process and guides the process evolution in such a way that said process output variable converges towards said desired trajectory.

  • Publication number: 20160215695
Abstract: Hybrid plant with a combined solar-gas cycle and operating method with two circuits, one air circuit and one steam circuit, the air circuit having a gas turbine with an intercooler with a natural gas supply, and the steam circuit having a steam turbine and storage systems. The steam circuit can have steam or salt solar receiver. Said plant can work more reliably by reducing the working temperature of the air in the receiver.

  • Patent number: 9211484
Abstract: The present invention relates to a plan and a process for regenerating degraded heat transfer oil. The plant includes a distillation column for separating heavy components. The distillation column has an upper part and a lower part, the upper part having: a first inlet for receiving degraded oil, and a head having a first outlet for expelling light component vapor. The plant also includes a rectifier, for receiving the vapor, and having: an upper part having a second outlet for expelling light components; and a lower part having a third outlet for expelling regenerated oil. The distillation column further includes a fourth outlet for letting heavy components out in the lower part of the distillation column, a pressure transmitter at the first inlet, a pressure and temperature transmitter at the first outlet, temperature transmitters inside the distillation column, level switches, an automatic valve at the fourth outlet, and an electric resistance for maintaining the oil in a liquid state.

  • Publication number: 20130118890
Abstract: The invention can be used to improve the yield of degraded heat transfer oil (1) recovered from a solar thermal facility, comprising the successive separation of heavy components (4) (ortho-, meta- and para-terphenyl) and light components (7) (phenol and benzene). The plant comprises: an air-cooled cooler (2) which cools the degraded heat transfer oil (1) to obtain a cooled oil (12); a distillation column (3) which separates the heavy components (4) and a vapour (15) of light components (7) plus oil from the cooled heat transfer oil (12); and a rectifier (6) which separates the light components (7) and the regenerated oil (17) from the vapour (15). The method comprises the cooling of the degenerated heat transfer oil (1) in the air-cooled cooler (2), the separation of the heavy components (4) in the distillation column (3), and the separation of the light components (7) and the regenerated oil (17) in the rectifier (6).

  • Patent number: 7044018
Abstract: The invention relates to a connecting element for the releasable connection of a first part with a second part, in particular a bowden cable with a lever wherein the connecting element comprises a housing which is rigidly mounted to the first part, an engaging element mounted to the second part and a slide having a receiving element complementary shaped to the engaging element for the releasable connection of the engaging element with the receiving element. The slide can inside the housing slide from a first position into a second position for latching the releasable connection between the engaging element and the receiving element. The connecting element further comprises at least one latching means for fixing the slide in the second position and at least one releasing means for manually acting onto the at least one latching means in order to release the slide from the second position for the unlatching of the releasable connection between the engaging element and the receiving element.
