The holder includes a curved elongated hole and an eye. The eye is concentrically arranged to the axis of rotation. The eye includes an inner circumference for receiving a bolt defining the axis of rotation. The holder is configured as a one-piece part. The holder is detachable from the hinge and has a first side facing the hinge member. At least one projection extends from the first side of the holder and to an automobile hinge and to a method.
