  • Patent number: 12115904
Abstract: A vehicle control system for controlling the activation of brake lights on a vehicle may include a pedal angle sensor operably coupled to a brake pedal of a vehicle to measure brake pedal angle, an electronic brake boost (EBB) system which may include an EBB module and a pedal travel sensor, a vehicle control module (VCM) which may monitor the EBB system and a brake light control module which may be operably coupled to the EBB module and the pedal angle sensor. The brake light control module may control the operation of brake lights on the vehicle based on input from the pedal travel sensor in a first state. The brake light control module may switch to a second state in which the operation of the brake lights may be controlled based on input from the pedal angle sensor responsive to the brake light control module detecting state change criteria.

  • Patent number: 9841073
Abstract: A brake rotor for attachment to a wheel of a vehicle may include outer and inner friction members, and a plurality of fin elements connecting the outer friction member to the inner friction member. Each fin element may include radially spaced first and second pillars that are connected by a single bridge portion to define an opening in the fin element. The opening may also be defined by an interior surface of one of the annular disks. The opening may be tapered along an entire length between a first pillar and a second pillar. A width of each fin element may taper toward a center of the brake rotor.

  • Patent number: 9371875
Abstract: A brake rotor for attachment to a wheel of a vehicle may include an outer friction member and an inner friction member. The brake rotor may further include a plurality of fin elements connecting the outer friction member to the inner friction member. Each fin element may include first and second pillars that are connected by a bridge portion to define an opening in the fin element. The opening is configured to allow air to pass through the fin element.

  • Patent number: 5247759
Abstract: A fishing pole holder for securing a fishing pole and being attachable to a boat. The holder includes a mounting securable to a boat rail or other appurtenance. The mounting includes an upwardly extending pivot post which receives a vertical tube which is pivotal about the post. The upper end of the tube carries an arm which supports a forward U-shaped support and a rearwardly extending support arm. The support arm carries a slidably adjustable U-shaped retaining member which faces downwardly. A portion of the pole rests on the forward U-shaped support member and a rearward portion of the pole or handle is received within the rear retaining member.
