  • Publication number: 20250077392
Abstract: Systems and methods for checking the correctness of a computer program with at least one incorrect instruction inserted into at least one of a plurality of branches of the computer program. At least one prover generates a counterexample of computer program correctness in order to switch focus from a failed proof of the correctness of the computer program to a failed test of the correctness of the computer program.

Abstract: Techniques for configuring data protection settings for data of an industrial system or an electric power system are provided. The industrial system or the electric power system includes at least one gateway via which the data are transmitted to a computing resource for processing and/or storing. One or several privacy-preserving techniques to be applied to the data are automatically determined. • Patent number: 11959825
Abstract: A method for monitoring a rotating equipment through a condition monitoring device is performed in every predetermined time period after every predetermined time interval. The method comprises detecting presence of vibration in rotating equipment based on a signal associated with vibration in the rotating equipment. The signal is measured with one or more sensors of the plurality of sensors. Upon detecting presence of vibration, a predefined number of samples associated with the vibration is acquired at a first frequency. A Root Mean Square (RMS) value of vibration is calculated using predefined number of samples. The calculated RMS value of vibration is compared with a reference value for detecting an operating status, which is stored for every predetermined time interval. Thereafter, the method comprises processing the stored information to assess a condition of the rotating equipment.

  • Publication number: 20220407945
Abstract: In order to compress sensor data for transmission, one or several operational parameters of a machine (20) having a rotating component are received. A compression technique is applied to a spectral representation of the sensor data to generate a compressed sensor data representation. The applied compression technique is dependent on the one or several operational parameters of the machine (20).

  • Publication number: 20220155761
Abstract: A method for monitoring a first machine and a second machine is described. The machines are rotating machines. Sensor devices are coupled to the machines. The method includes synchronizing a first sensor device and a second sensor device; sensing, by the first sensor device, an operating parameter of the first machine; and sensing, by the second sensor device, an operating parameter of the second machine. The sensing of the second operating parameter is synchronized to the sensing of the first operating parameter. The method further includes broadcasting, by the first sensor device, a data packet comprising the sensed operating parameter of the first machine; receiving, by the second sensor device, the data packet sent by the first sensor device; and calculating, by the second sensor device, a performance indicator from the received operating parameter of the first machine and the sensed operating parameter of the second machine.

  • Patent number: 10073749
Abstract: A combination of a component-based automation framework, software-based redundancy patterns, and a distributed, reliable runtime manager, is able to detect host failures and to trigger a reconfiguration of the system at runtime. This combined solution maintains system operation in case a fault occurs and, in addition, automatically restores fault tolerance by using backup contingency plans, and without the need for operator intervention or immediate hardware replacement. A fault-tolerant fault tolerance mechanism is thus provided, which restores the original level of fault tolerance after a failure has occurred—automatically and immediately, i.e., without having to wait for a repair or replacement of the faulty entity. In short, the invention delivers increased availability or uptime of a system at reduced costs and complexity for an operator or engineer by adapting automatically to a new environment.

  • Publication number: 20150067330
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a method and system which allow for ready revocation of end user access rights by virtue of storing data in an encrypted form in a network environment, and using a trusted proxy server to re-encrypt the data itself to permit eventual decryption of the data by an authorised end user. However, if the end user's access rights are revoked then the trusted proxy does not perform the re-encryption of the data, and the end user is not then able to subsequently decrypt data stored in the network environment, even if it is able to access the data, without permission. Embodiments therefore have advantages that access control is decoupled from data confidentiality to provide scalability, and revocation of user access rights can be accomplished without requiring re-encryption of the stored data.
