  • Publication number: 20240082153
Abstract: The present invention relates to a formulation of Ivermectin in oral solution which allows proper absorption, enabling the drug to be consumed at any time. In particular, the oral lipid composition is designed with the appropriate selection of a medium-chain triglyceride oil, a hydrophilic cosolvent and an antioxidant, so as to influence the absorption/digestibility of the poorly water-soluble active ingredient and facilitate bioavailability and bioactivity for the administration of the oral solution in drops. The formulation includes Ivermectin in a lipid medium including a cosolvent and an antioxidant in combination with an oily solvent to form an oral solution for administration in drops. The field of the invention is related to improving the bioavailability of insoluble drugs such as Ivermectin for administration in oral drop forms based mainly on lipids without compromising stability or creating impurities.

  • Patent number: 11815499
Abstract: A resonant column device configured to perform a resonant column test on a specimen and measure an angular deformation of the specimen. The resonant column device has a housing mounted on a base, a specimen container within the housing, a cell wall surrounding the specimen container, a load frame within the housing with a support bar above the specimen container, a torque motor suspended from the support bar with a plurality of springs, and a laser deformation sensor within the housing outside of the specimen container. The specimen container is configured to hold the specimen during testing. The cell wall is configured to fluidly isolate the specimen container from an interior volume of the housing. The torque motor is configured to apply a torsional harmonic load to the specimen, and the laser deformation sensor is configured to measure an angular deformation of the specimen.

  • Publication number: 20150048703
Abstract: A system for generating and recovering energy comprising an electric generator integrated with a consumer's utility provider's network to generate electrical energy. Electrical power is transmitted from an electric power grid to a control box at a location requiring energy (e.g., home or business) via a bidirectional meter which measures power delivered by and to the power grid. The control box powers an AC driver which feeds a load to and controls the speed of a motor. A torque multiplier multiplies a first torque output from the motor to produce a second torque output which is fed to an alternator. The power generated by the electric generator is transmitted to a remote location for consumption. In one embodiment, exported energy is returned to the utility provider in exchange for credit against the consumer's account or for payment. In an alternative embodiment, the present invention functions as an independent power plant.

  • Publication number: 20060114082
Abstract: The invention relates generally to RF and microwave multiplexers implemented with a plurality of coupled resonators. More specifically, the present invention relates to multiplexers configured to require only a plurality of resonators and series, shunt, cross couplings and input/output couplings between them. It is a main feature of the invention that no microwave dividers, combiners, circulators, or other junctions are necessary for the distribution of microwave energy among the coupled resonators. This is achieved for example by a P-channel multiplexer comprising P rows of coupled resonators, a common input terminal connected to the first resonator of at least one of said rows, and P channel output terminals connected with the last resonator in each row, and at least one coupling between resonators belonging to different rows.

  • Patent number: 6964350
Abstract: A handkerchief dispensing apparatus for containing and dispensing handkerchiefs for a user. The handkerchief dispensing apparatus includes a housing comprising a base wall and a perimeter wall. The perimeter wall and the base wall define a receiving space of the housing for receiving the handkerchiefs. The perimeter wall comprises a dispensing slot extending through the perimeter wall of the housing for permitting a portion of each of the handkerchiefs to extend through the perimeter wall when the handkerchiefs are positioned in the receiving space of the housing. A lid member is hingably coupled to the housing. The lid member selectively closes the open end of the receiving space when the lid member is positioned over the housing. A dispensing assembly is coupled to the housing. The dispensing assembly is designed for feeding one of the handkerchiefs through the dispensing slot when the dispensing assembly is actuated by the user.

  • Patent number: 6931265
Abstract: A wireless Mobile Executive Assistant (MEA) in the form of a PDA/Phone having multiple, independently oriented screens configured to provide data, video independently or in combined fashion. Formed in the opposing first and second edges adjacent to a body having main display screen formed thereon are first and second slots, respectively, the first and second slots formed to receive first and second, slidingly engaging ancillary display screens. Each of the first and second display screens provide independent video or data information from the MEA, or video or other data transmission via the MEA, and can accordingly be used to conference simultaneously with three independent parties on three separate screens.
