The cylinder comprises a plurality of nested sections so that the cylinder is selectively extensible. An actuator that is coupled to the vehicle is operationally coupled to the plurality of cylinders and an electrical circuit of the vehicle. The actuator is positioned to selectively actuate the plurality of cylinders to extend the cylinders from the frame of the vehicle so that the cylinders contact a surface. The plurality of cylinders thus is configured to raise the vehicle.
