  • Patent number: 10890215
Abstract: A roller bearing for a wind turbine includes a first inner ring with an axial protrusion, a second inner ring, an outer ring arranged coaxially over the first inner ring and the second inner ring, and first and second pluralities of rolling elements. The rolling elements roll on respective inner ring and outer ring raceways. The roller bearing also has a bearing interior at least partially filled with a lubricant, an additional ring arranged radially outwardly on the axial protrusion, an axial extension connected to the outer ring and includes a cylindrical inner sealing face, and a radial shaft sealing ring installed on the additional ring in a radially outward manner. The radial shaft sealing ring has a radially outwardly directed sealing lip in radial contact with the cylindrical inner sealing face.

  • Publication number: 20160069389
Abstract: A rolling body guide element for a roller bearing, having an inner web (1) that is arranged between two adjacent rolling bodies in the installed state and forms a first and second connecting part wall (1a, 1b) facing a respective rolling body at the radial plane of the rolling body axes, a run-on structure (2) formed in the region of the respective connecting part wall to provide at least one roller run-on zone supporting the respective rolling body in the circumferential direction, and a radial guide structure (3) for radial guidance of the inner connecting part. According to the invention, the rolling body guide element includes first and second side edge pieces (4, 5) which, on sides of the rolling body guide element facing away from one another, rise up above the end faces of the adjacent rolling body and overlap these end faces.

  • Publication number: 20150377291
Abstract: A cage part (1, 20, 40) for a rolling bearing cage (30), having a connecting part (3) extending in a longitudinal direction (Z), at the ends of which a first supporting arm (4) and a second supporting arm (5) are arranged, each of which extends beyond the connecting part (3) on both sides in a first transverse direction (X) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (Z). The supporting arms (4, 5) each include two half arms (7, 8, 9, 10) angled in the opposite direction to one another away from the web (3) and which are offset with respect to one another in a second transverse direction (Y) perpendicular to the first transverse direction (X) and the longitudinal direction (Z).
