Abstract: A woody vegetation suppressor equipment, being a forest implement, for the grinding of woody vegetation, bushes, grass, stumps and pruning remains; it is composed by a metallic structure all reinforced in steel, with a hitch on the three points of the tire tractor, drive cardan, bidirectional transmission box with lateral transmission made with belts and pulleys and at the bottom an axle with displaced knives; the equipment is coupled in the front part in a tire tractor, where it is driven by the tractor’s power take-off, the power take-off turns in high rotation through the main and secondary transmission, drives the cutting system making the axle underneath the equipment that is equipped with cutting blades reach a high torque, being able to shred all the vegetation that comes in contact. The benefit is to mechanize the process of clearing vegetation, using shredding, providing a faster and more environmentally friendly operation.

Abstract: A passenger seating arrangement for a vehicle cabin comprising a plurality of seat units, wherein the seat units in one column are arranged one behind another in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle cabin, wherein at least one of the forward facing seat units is arranged in a front row section of the vehicle cabin and is followed by at least one angled seat unit in the same column. Further, a vehicle cabin having such a passenger seating arrangement is provided.

This system is characterized by being suitable for use within containers for protecting stored dried agricultural plant products for a long period of time, in particular more than 4 weeks, more preferably more than 8 or 12 weeks.

The device is composed of a otoscope (1), including two optical fibers (2a and 2b): one for ear illumination and another returning the reflected light. The electronic unit (3) can change linearly the power of emitted light, as well as, its color. The received light is also independently measured, enabling the determination of changes on color and texture associated with the ear inflammations. Command buttons in the otoscope handler (4) enable the user to save the values of the three color components. The combined value of the components is shown in the digital display (5) of the electronic unit, as well as, by a set of LEDs (6) green, yellow and red that gives a diagnosis in a simple and immediate way. The otoscope allows, simultaneously, directly ear view through a magnifying glass (7) applied in the head of the otoscope, with a standard white light.

Abstract: Insect repelling paint compositions include a binder, a solvent, and an amount of Andiroba oil. The compositions may have from about 1 to about 25% by weight, and preferably around 5% by weight of the Andiroba oil. A method of making such paint compositions is disclosed. Methods for imparting or improving the insect repellency of paints and painted surfaces are also described.
