  • Patent number: 9002205
Abstract: System for connecting a plurality of digital subscribers to a data network, comprising a local part connected, by an optical fiber link, to a remote part. Said local part comprises a plurality of DSLAM line cards with xDSL over fiber transceiver that, in turn, comprise a plurality of xDSL lines comprising a modified analog front end which comprises an digital-analog converter to transform a transmitted digital downstream signal into an analog downstream signal; an oscillator which fixes an oscillation frequency for the xDSL line; a mixer, directly connected to the output to convert the analog downstream signal into the oscillation frequency; and a band pass filter centered at the oscillation frequency which filters the converted analog downstream signal.

Date of Patent: April 7, 2015
    Assignee: Telefonica, S.A.

  • Publication number: 20120263295
Abstract: The active microfilter is essentially composed of an active part, which comprises a sign inverter circuit composed of an operational amplifier (13), two resistances and the impedance to be adapted (12), and a passive part which comprises capacitors, coils and resistances. The active microfilter is arranged in an auto-installable device which comprises a circuit for supplying the active part; wherein the aim is to eliminate the reflections caused by line sections, without adaptation, which interfere with the correct operation of the network when accessing broadband with the VDSL2 standard.

  • Publication number: 20120263065
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for predicting the performance of a metal pair for broadband accesses from reflectometry measurements taken from a single point of the access network, specifically from the telephone exchange, the method being able to be carried out from the raw data provided by the DSLAM, as well as from data already prepared by management and configuration tools.

  • Publication number: 20120204206
Abstract: The invention relates to a system and method for controlling access to contents. The system comprises a network for distributing encrypted content, a receiver (100) for receiving such content, at least one mobile terminal (200) for communicating with the receiver (100) through a short-range wireless interface, for example NFC, means for sending the Identifier of the desired Content, Product or Service and a user identification from the smart card of the mobile terminal (200) to a purchase platform (300) and means for sending the information necessary for decoding the encrypted content to the smart card of the mobile terminal (200). The mobile terminal (200) is configured to send said information through the wireless interface to the receiver (100) and the receiver (100) decodes the encrypted content with the aid of the information received from the mobile terminal (200). Smart cards with SCWS technology are used.
