  • Patent number: 11845376
Abstract: Provided is a radar and light emission assembly for emitting light and radar radiation and for detecting at least reflected radar radiation including: a headlight including a light-transparent headlight cover, and a light source, and a light reflector; a radar module, which is arranged behind the headlight cover, integrated in the headlight and including a radar antenna unit. The radar and light emission assembly has at least one radar radiation-forming mechanism, in particular a frequency-selective radar radiation-forming mechanism, including a radar radiation-forming mechanism, which is integrated in the headlight cover. The application of the radar technology, integrated in the headlight, can be further optimized hereby. The invention further relates to a method and a use for a radar and light emission assembly of this type.

  • Publication number: 20220135475
Abstract: Methods for increasing the strength of a planar or strip-shaped glass substrate are provided. Electromagnetic radiation in the wavelength range from 180 nm to 1100 nm is applied to the glass substrate by means of at least one pulse, wherein the at least one pulse has a radiation bandwidth of at least 100 nm and the glass substrate has a temperature of at most 200° C. prior to the at least one pulse acting thereon, and wherein the pulse energy density of the at least one pulse of electromagnetic radiation is set in the range from 0.1 Jcm-2 to 100 Jcm-2.

  • Patent number: 9909208
Abstract: A method for developing a coating having a high light transmission and/or a low light reflection is provided. The method relates to a process for developing a coating with a high light transmission and/or a low light reflection, where the coating is deposited on a substrate. The coating is deposited as a mixed coating comprising a material A and a material B, where the coating is developed to have a coating thickness profile in which the lowest proportion of the material B is on the substrate surface and the highest proportion of coating material is on the coating surface. The material B is at least partially removed from the coating after deposition of the coating on the substrate.
