Abstract: An expansion connection module is disclosed for connecting to at least two coil connectors of an electromagnetic switching device, in particular a contactor. In at least one embodiment, the expansion connection module includes a housing; at least one fastening device for fixing the expansion connection module to the electromagnetic switching device or to a switchgear unit positioned adjacent to the electromagnetic switching device; at least two connection openings and at least two terminal blocks associated with the at least two connection openings for the purpose of connecting voltage supply lines; and at least two flexible leads for electrically connecting the terminal blocks of the expansion connection module to the at least two coil connectors of the electromagnetic switching device.

Abstract: There is described a switching device whose disconnection cause can be identified, and a method for displaying the disconnection cause of a switching device. The switching device has a switch latch for mechanical activation of the switching device, a first tripper for overload protection, a second tripper for short-circuit protection, and a handle for activating the switch latch. The switching device is embodied in such a way that the handle is moved to a first position or a second position if the first tripper or second tripper is tripped, with the first position and the second position being different.

Abstract: The invention relates to an electromagnetic switching device, in particular a contactor, comprising a switching device housing (2) and a plug-in module which can be inserted into the latter and which contains a coil form (12) for a coil. A tripping element (60) is mounted on a housing section (40) of the plug-in module (4). Said element is designed to mechanically actuate the contact unit (30) of an electric switch (24) for producing an economy connection. The switch (24) is mounted on a support structure (printed-circuit board (22)) that is located in the plug-in module (4), with a supporting contour (70) of said switch adjoining a bearing contour (72) of the housing section (40).

Abstract: An electromagnetic switching device includes a housing and a plug-in module which can be inserted into the housing at an insertion point in a direction of insertion. The plug-in module holds a magnetic yoke, attached to which is a coil unit. Two extensions, which point respectively to the front and to the rear in relation to the direction of insertion, are formed on the magnetic yoke. In order to retain the magnetic yoke, a retaining bracket extending transversally in relation to the direction of insertion, overlaps one of the fixing extensions and engages two retaining tongues from below, said tongues being formed as one-piece with the plug-in module.

Abstract: The invention relates to an electromagnetic switching device comprising a housing (1) and a plug-in module (3) which can be inserted into the housing (1) at an insertion point (2) in a direction of insertion (x). The plug-in module (3) holds a magnetic yoke (4), attached to which is a coil unit (20). Two fixing extensions (7), which point respectively to the front and to the rear in relation to the direction of insertion (x), are formed on the magnetic yoke (4). In order to retain the magnetic yoke (4), a retaining bracket (13) extending transversally in relation to the direction of insertion (x), overlaps one of the fixing extensions (7) and engages two retaining tongues (15) from below, said tongues being formed as one-piece with the plug-in module (3).
