The invention also relates to processes for preparing these coating compositions, and to their use as coating material in the automotive refinish segment, in the vehicle, utility vehicle (including skips, chassis), and agricultural-machinery and rail segments, and in machines. Preferably, the coating compositions of the invention are used as primers with and without chemical pretreatment such as iron or zinc phosphating, with and without mechanical pretreatment such as sandblasting, abrading or the like.
