  • Patent number: 12684049
Abstract: A method for reconciliation of published events using blockchain includes: publishing, a plurality of events on an event platform during a period of time; transmitting a numerical count of the plurality of events published on the event platform during the period of time to a blockchain node of a blockchain network for adding to a blockchain; receiving a first block on the blockchain that includes a number of events consumed on the event platform during the period of time, the number of events consumed being less than the numerical count of the plurality of events; generating event data for each of one or more of the plurality of events published on the event platform during the period of time; and transmitting the generated event data to the blockchain node for adding to the blockchain.

  • Publication number: 20250390350
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for inhibiting missed events in an event driven scheme. One example computer-implemented method includes publishing events to a message bus to a first topic during an audit interval, where each of the events is associated with a unique event identifier (ID). The method also includes, for each of the events published, incrementing a count for the audit interval and then, after the audit interval: publishing an audit event, which includes the audit count for the audit interval; in response to a request for event IDs, from a consumer of the message bus, providing the event IDs for each of the events; and in response to a request to republish missing ones of the events, from the consumer of the message bus, republishing the missing ones of the events, to the message bus, to a second topic.

  • Publication number: 20250390397
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for accommodating event publication delays in an event-driven architecture. One example computer-implemented method includes, based on a failed publication of an original event to a primary message bus: consuming, by an event recovery facilitator, a backup event from a secondary message bus, based on a first topic of the backup event, the event recovery facilitator being a computing device, the backup event including data from the original event; identifying, by the event recovery facilitator, an original topic of the backup event, the original topic of the event different than the first topic of the backup event; determining, by the event recovery facilitator, that the original topic is active on the primary message bus and based on thereon, publishing the backup event to the original topic on the primary message bus.
