  • Patent number: 8462767
Abstract: The IP-PBX includes a multimedia gateway controller in which a call control data master table stores call control data for all terminals falling under the control of the IP-PBX. In the event of failure of a PH accommodating IP phones and the like via the LAN, the multimedia gateway controller transfers the contents of the call control data slave table existing on the PH to the call control data slave table on another PH.

  • Patent number: 8166293
Abstract: When encryption information including an encryption rule, an encryption range, and an encryption key is input to a server apparatus from a local maintenance console in advance, the server apparatus stores the encryption information in an encryption information setting unit, creates an SIP request message including the encryption information, and transmits the SIP request message to a client apparatus. The client apparatus receives the SIP request message including the encryption information. If confirming normality of the encryption information, the client apparatus sets the encryption information therein. After completion of a setting of the encryption information, the client apparatus transmits a notification of the completion of the setting of the encryption information to the server apparatus.

  • Patent number: 7965846
Abstract: When an SIP interface unit of a server apparatus receives an SIP message for call connection from a client apparatus and an SIP message analyzing unit can confirm that the SIP message is normal, a call controller recognizes that an RTP communication is carried out between the client apparatus and another client apparatus and instructs an encrypting capability management unit to determine RTP encrypting information which is used between the client apparatuses. The encrypting capability management unit determines the RTP encrypting information between these client apparatuses based on the instruction. With this arrangement, there can be provided a client-server distributed system that can realize an encrypting security function without requiring a certificate authentification function at a low cost in order to deliver an encrypting key as well as without necessity of holding or managing a certificate and preparing an authenticating server in a system.

  • Patent number: 7668155
Abstract: A hold sound and audible sound data memory area of a memory holds a plurality of types of hold sound and audible sound data which are stored in a payload format of an RTP packet. An RTP/hold sound or audible sound switching function writes one of an RTP packet and the hold sound or audible sound data into a DSP. A hold sound or audible sound data selection function selects a hold sound or audible sound to be reproduced from the plurality of types of hold sound and audible sound data. A hold sound or audible sound intermittence control function restricts the input of the hold sound or audible sound data into the DSP, to control the intermittence of the hold sound or audible sound. A hold sound or audible sound periodic reproduction function periodically inputs the hold sound or audible sound data into the DSP. The DSP converts the RTP packet such as voice or the hold sound or audible sound data into a voice signal of a PCM signal.

  • Patent number: 7580402
Abstract: The IP-PBX 1 includes a multimedia gateway controller 2 in which a call control data master table stores call control data for all terminals falling under the control of the IP-PBX and protocol handlers which are installed on a system bus 101 or expansion system bus 102 in a sufficient number for serving the number of circuits accommodated by the IP-PBX. On each of the protocol handlers, a microprocessor performs processing tasks corresponding to a load shared on it in interfacing with a given number of terminals, using a call control data slave table in its memory, call control protocol conversion function, fault-supervisory-processing function, call control protocol retransmission function, call control protocol transfer function, and terminal supervisory function.

  • Publication number: 20080028458
Abstract: In a client-server distributed system including an SIP-protocol-coping server apparatus and an SIP-protocol-coping client apparatus, client authentication of the SIP-protocol-coping client apparatus is performed from the SIP-protocol-coping server apparatus by a client authentication unit. In the client-server distributed system, in addition to the client authentication, server authentication of the SIP-protocol-coping server apparatus is performed by a server authentication unit from the SIP-protocol-coping client apparatus. In the client-server distributed system, authentication completion is recognized when the bidirectional authentication is achieved.

  • Publication number: 20040153560
Abstract: A request receiving section of a server device receives, from a server-side console, an information setting request including user authentication information and designation of a client device and a setting nullification request including designation of a client device, and a request transfer section transfers the requests to a designated client device over a LAN. A remote request processing section of a client device sets user authentication information in the received setting request in a user authentication section which authenticates a user who uses a maintenance interface, and opens the maintenance interface. When receiving the setting nullification request, the remote request processing section nullifies the user authentication information set in the user authentication section and closes the maintenance interface. Accordingly, a client/server type distribution system can remotely open and close the maintenance interface of a client device from the server device.

  • Publication number: 20010003522
Abstract: According to the ISDN rerouting device and the ISDN rerouting method of this invention, CPU 205 establishes a communication call between telephone terminal 30 and telephone terminal 31 via ISDN based on information in memory 206 when the occurrence of congestion in IP network 10 is detected by IP-TRK 202, thereby suppressing packet loss and delays in voice signals during transmission and preventing deterioration or communication quality between telephone terminals.
