Abstract: A display apparatus includes a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel, a source driver, a gate driver and a timing controller. The LCD panel includes a main scan line, a sub scan line, a first pixel and a second pixel. The timing controller controls the gate driver to alternately output a main scan signal and a sub scan signal within every frame time. A time difference between the main scan signal and adjacent the sub scan signal is a delay time value. The main scan signal controls the first pixel to be written with a first polarity data and the second pixel to be written with a second polarity data. The frame times include at least two different delay time values.

Abstract: An image display system includes a data driving circuit and a timing controller. The data driving circuit outputs multiple data driving signals to provide data of an image signal to multiple pixels on a pixel array. The timing controller obtains original pixel values of the pixels according to the image signal, adjusts the original pixel value(s) of one or more pixel(s) according to a predetermined algorithm to generate adjusted pixel value(s), and generates the data driving signals according to the original pixel values and the adjusted pixel value(s). Based on the predetermined algorithm, an original pixel value of a pixel is adjusted according to a difference between the original pixel value of the pixel and an original pixel value of an adjacent pixel.

Abstract: In a liquid crystal driving method and circuit, a pixel of a display is driven from an initial pixel value associated with a previous frame to a target pixel value of a current frame by an overdrive gray value. The overdrive gray value is determined by an overdrive curve, the initial pixel value, and the target pixel value. The overdrive curve is simulated from a polynomial function.
