Abstract: A cable television apparatus is applied to an input coaxial cable and an output coaxial cable to transmit a cable television signal. The cable television apparatus includes an improved choke, an input side, an output side, an input capacitor and an output capacitor. The improved choke is electrically connected to the input coaxial cable, the output coaxial cable, the input side, the output side, the input capacitor and the output capacitor. The improved choke includes a conductive wire and a ferrite core. One side of the conductive wire is electrically connected to the input side and one side of the input capacitor. The other side of the conductive wire is electrically connected to the output side and one side of the output capacitor. The ferrite core covers one part of the conductive wire. Moreover, the ferrite core is a high saturation current ferrite core.

The cable television signal splitting apparatus includes a splitter, a bi-directional amplifying circuit and a splitting circuit. The bi-directional amplifying circuit is electrically connected to the splitter. The splitting circuit is electrically connected to the bi-directional amplifying circuit. The bi-directional amplifying circuit is arranged between the splitter and the splitting circuit. The splitter receives the cable television system downstream signal and transmits the cable television system downstream signal to the bi-directional amplifying circuit. The splitting circuit receives the cable television system upstream signal and transmits the cable television system upstream signal to the bi-directional amplifying circuit.

The ferrite core is a high saturation current ferrite core, so that the primary side circuit transmits the cable television signal and the alternating current power, and couples the cable television signal to the secondary side coil.

The distribution resistors of the resistor distribution circuit are arranged as a radial pattern. The transformer receives a cable television signal. After the transformer receives the cable television signal, the transformer distributes the cable television signal through the distribution resistors. A transformer turns ratio of the transformer is adjusted to perform an impedance matching with the distribution resistors of the resistor distribution circuit.
