  • Publication number: 20070284367
Abstract: The present invention discloses an optical disc destroying device, which comprises an upper clamp arm and a lower clamp arm. The rear ends of the upper and lower clamp arms are pivotally coupled with a pivotal pin so that the front ends thereof can be vertically opened and closed. The bottom surface of the upper clamp arm has an upper scratching plate, and the top surface of the lower clamp arm has a lower scratching plate. Both the upper and lower scratching plates have scratching teeth at the front ends thereof, which can dual-side clamp an optical disc and scratch the printed surface of the optical disc. Thereby, the optical disc is destroyed, and the data stored in the optical disc can no more be revealed.

  • Publication number: 20070286979
Abstract: A surface treatment device for optical discs comprises a base; and an upper cover, pivotedly coupled to the base, and cooperating with the base to form a gripping space where the optical disc is gripped. The base has a rotary axle in the gripping space for accommodating the central hole of the optical disc and has a grinding element contacting the surface of the optical disc. The upper cover has a connection element, which is able to engage with the rotary axle and is pivotedly coupled to a crank that can be shifted between a folding position and a rotation position. When the crank is shifted to the rotation position, the connection element is engaged with the rotary axle, and the optical disc is gripped fixedly. When rotating the crank, the optical disc will be driven to rotate; thereby, the surface of the optical disc can be cleaned or destroyed.

  • Publication number: 20070274766
Abstract: A composite cleaning device mainly includes a plurality of assembly bodies coupled in a pen-like manner. Each of the assembly bodies contains a cleaning element to perform a selected cleaning function. The cleaning elements may include a brush, a cleaner vial and a wiping cloth. The wiping cloth is located on the front end of the cleaning device. After the wiping cloth is removed, the cleaner vial can dispense a cleaner through a depressing mechanism. The brush can be slid outside the cleaning device through a sliding mechanism. Thereby the cleaning device can provide comprehensive cleaning functions and achieve desired cleaning effect.

  • Patent number: 7207877
Abstract: A clamp-type optical disc repairing device is used to clamp an optical disc with a central hole and swab or repair the optical disc, and comprises: a first clamp arm; and a second clamp arm, pivotally coupled to the first clamp arm. Force-applying ends are defined on the pivotal connection positions of the first and the second clamp arms, and clamping ends are defined on the ends opposite to the force-applying ends. The inner side of the clamping end has a positioning convex member, and the inner side of the force-applying ends has an elastic element. The inner wall of the first clamp arm or the second clamp arm has at least one contact pad. After the positioning convex member has penetrated through the central hole of the optical disc and the clamp arms have clamped the optical disc well, the user can apply force to rotate the optical disc.

  • Patent number: 6960122
Abstract: An optical disc repairing device is mounted on a repairing machine base to perform cleaning, maintenance and repair of the optical disc. The repairing device includes a movement transmitting element, a connecting element mounted on the movement transmitting element, a resilient piece mounted between the movement transmitting element and the connecting element, a carrier element mounted on the connecting element, and a repair element mounted on the carrier element. When the optical disc rotates, in association with a rotation of the repairing device, the scratched surface of the optical disc is polished until a surface without defects is obtained to proper reflection of the laser beam for data access from the optical disc.

  • Patent number: 6386946
Abstract: A repair machine for compact disk is used for cleaning, maintaining, and repairing compact disks. The processing procedure is basically a mechanical method by: placing a scratched compact disk on a CD turntable of the repair machine, grinding it with a grinding wheel and dripping grinding agent on the grinding wheel continuously. The grinding agent is classified in three categories: coarse, middle, and fine (polishing), for trimming scratch to renew a marred compact disk.
