Abstract: Techniques for migrating a stateful workload between a source container cluster and a destination container cluster that have different storage backends are provided. In one set of embodiments, these techniques involve creating and running, at the time of the migration, transfer processes in the source and destination container clusters respectively, where (1) the source-side transfer process mounts the workload's persistent volumes (referred to as source persistent volumes) in the source container cluster, and (2) the destination-side transfer process mounts destination persistent volumes that have been dynamically provisioned in the destination container cluster in accordance with the specifications of the source persistent volumes.

Abstract: System and methods for creating and configuring virtual machines (VMs) are provided. The method may include receiving, a first VM configuration and a second VM configuration. The second VM configuration is related to the first VM configuration. The method may include creating a first plurality of VMs in a first VM group based on the first VM configuration and creating a second plurality of VMs in the first VM group based on the second VM configuration. The method may further include applying the affinity rule in the first VM configuration to the first plurality of VMs and the second plurality of VMs. The method may further include configuring the first plurality of VMs based on the set of VM services in the first VM configuration and the second plurality of VMs based on the set of VM services in the second VM configuration.

The method may comprise the SDN controller device configuring the plurality of forwarding devices to generate trace information of packets associated with a communication flow in the SDN environment; and receiving trace information of packets associated with the communication flow. Based on the trace information, the SDN controller device may generate aggregated trace information by identifying, from header information and payload information of the packets, particular packets associated with the communication flow that are processed by one of the plurality of forwarding devices, or a particular packet associated with the communication flow that is processed by at least two of the plurality of forwarding devices, or both.

Abstract: In a method for applying a curable hot-melt ink the ink is applied in a fluid state on a medium, in particular a recording medium or an intermediate transfer member, on which the ink cools, thereby thickening. Then, the applied ink is at least partly heated such that the viscosity of at least a part of the ink decreases. Thereafter, the ink is cured. The method is suitable for providing a high gloss image and/or for improving an ink transfer from the intermediate transfer member to a recording medium and/or for improving an adhesion of the ink on the recording medium.
