Abstract: A novel metal-based ion-selective electrode sensor for the detection of under deposit corrosions in sour media is disclosed. The sensor can be fabricated by the sequencing electrochemical polarization followed by functionalization with an organic-inorganic layer via impregnation and polymerization. The hybrid modified multifunctional sensor allows successful selective screening and monitoring of the concertation of soluble chloride ions in sour and sweet media. The sensor is portable, durable, cost-effective, and feasible for practical commercial utilizations.

Abstract: A liquid medicament dispenser having a tubular barrel extending from a plunger end to a cap end having a cap opening and without a washer. The present invention includes a plunger dimensioned and adapted to hermetically engage the inner circumference of the tubular barrel so that as it moves between a fully compacted condition and a partially compacted condition pressure develops therein, thereby urging a liquid medicament in or out through the cap end.

There is also described an aqueous suspension comprising sodium cromoglycate partitioned between a free aqueous phase and a liposome phase. There is further described a method for making the compositions and their use in the treatment of allergic conditions, e.g., asthma.
