Publication number: 20240127367Abstract: A crop prediction system performs various machine learning operations to predict crop production and to identify a set of farming operations that, if performed, optimize crop production. The crop prediction system uses crop prediction models trained using various machine learning operations based on geographic and agronomic information. Responsive to receiving a request from a grower, the crop prediction system can access information representation of a portion of land corresponding to the request, such as the location of the land and corresponding weather conditions and soil composition. The crop prediction system applies one or more crop prediction models to the access information to predict a crop production and identify an optimized set of farming operations for the grower to perform.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 25, 2023Publication date: April 18, 2024Inventors: David Patrick Perry, Geoffrey Albert von Maltzahn, Robert Berendes, Eric Michael Jeck, Barry Loyd Knight, Rachel Ariel Raymond, Ponsi Trivisvavet, Justin Y H Wong, Neal Hitesh Rajdev, Marc-Cedric Joseph Meunier, Casey James Leist, Pranav Ram Tadi, Andrea Lee Flaherty, Charles David Brummitt, Naveen Neil Sinha, Jordan Lambert, Jonathan Hennek, Carlos Becco, Mark Allen, Daniel Bachner, Fernando Derossi, Ewan Lamont, Rob Lowenthal, Dan Creagh, Steve Abramson, Ben Allen, Jyoti Shankar, Chris Moscardini, Jeremy Crane, David Weisman, Gerard Keating, Lauren Moores, William Pate

Patent number: 10935534Abstract: A whole plant gas exchange apparatus employs a chamber having a first region for accommodating a growth medium and a root system of a whole plant, and a second region accommodating a canopy of the plant. The regions are separated by a barrier, except for an opening through which the stem of the plant is accommodated. An air source supplies incoming air to the second region through an intake. An air outlet conveys outgoing air from the second region to a gas sensor for analysis of the outgoing air after photosynthetic interaction with the plant canopy. A vent communicates the first region of the chamber to an ambient environment outside the chamber. A resulting pressurized state of the second region is used to exhaust air from the first region through the vent in order to isolate this exhausted air from the analyzed canopy air.Type: GrantFiled: October 3, 2017Date of Patent: March 2, 2021Assignee: BioChambers IncorporatedInventors: Robert Barry Pauls, Marc Albert Joseph Theroux, Patrick Calvin Friesen, Ronald Rowland Sugden, Bruce Kettner

Publication number: 20200211717Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein include receiving disease symptom and disease factor inputs from a patient population comprising a plurality of patients, determining whether individual disease factors tend to cause individual patients in the patient population to experience individual disease symptoms or prevent individual patients in the patient population from experiencing individual disease symptoms, and causing a graphical user interlace to display a patient population trigger visualization for the disease symptoms, wherein the trigger visualization comprises a plurality of rows and one or more columns, wherein a first column corresponds to a first disease symptom for a first patient, and wherein a first row in the first column comprises an indication of an extent to which a first risk factor is a disease trigger or disease protector for the first disease symptom for the first patient.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 11, 2018Publication date: July 2, 2020Applicant: Curelator, Inc.Inventors: Marc ALBERT, Gabriel BOUCHER, Alec MIAN

Publication number: 20200167724Abstract: Systems and methods are described for a wireless asset-tracking system that enables automated continuous characterization of aspects of shipment flow through a supply chain. In various embodiments, modular wireless tracking devices traveling with shipments report location and other data to a computational back end. The data are processed by analytic software running on the back end, which produces outputs such as supply-chain maps and metrics. The back-end software monitors for anomalies (e.g., delays, diversions) and notifies the user of prominent issues. In addition, the software remotely manages power consumption by trackers. It may also indicate opportunities for improving the efficiency of the supply chain.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 26, 2019Publication date: May 28, 2020Inventors: Konstantin Klitenik, John Sweeney, Francis Carter Wheatley, Marc Albert Held

Patent number: 9658947Abstract: Ranking of fault-test pairs is performed using first and second multitudes of waveform statistics. The first multitude of waveform statistics includes first value-change information regarding variations in logics HIGH and LOW for each bit of each reference output resulting from a test run of the design code. The second multitude of waveform statistics includes second value-change information regarding variations in logics HIGH and LOW for each bit of each faulty output resulting from a test run of the design code injected with a fault. Relative differences between the first and second multitudes of waveform statistics for each bit of each faulty output with respect to the corresponding reference output are determined. A waveform difference based on the relative differences for each signal of each faulty output is determined. A ranking result of fault-test pairs is determined according to the waveform differences of the faulty outputs.Type: GrantFiled: February 15, 2013Date of Patent: May 23, 2017Assignee: SYNOPSYS, INC.Inventors: Tien-Chun Wei, Jean-Marc Albert Forey, Kai Yang, Kuo-Ching Lin, Michael Lyons

Publication number: 20110306396Abstract: Presented herein are methods, apparatuses, programs, and systems for scoring a player performance comprising one or more poses in a dance-based video game. a performance 3D skeleton is received that indicates a pose of the player. A score is calculated by comparing a position, a timing, or both, associated with one or more joints of the performance 3D skeleton to a position, a timing, or both, associated with one or more joints of a target pose and altering one or more characteristics of the dance-based video game based on the score.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 5, 2010Publication date: December 15, 2011Applicant: Harmonix Music Systems, Inc.Inventors: Marc Albert Flury, Kasson D. Patent number: 4031840Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for recovering sunken wrecks. More particularly, the present invention concerns a method and apparatus for recovering sunken wrecks wherein a harpoon is launched from a submarine device, implants itself in the wreck and is provided with a rope and means for fastening a pull cable. The end of the rope which is remote from the harpoon is floated to the surface. An apparatus placed at the end of the pull cable is caused to descend along the rope, and at the end of the stroke the apparatus automatically fastens itself to the harpoon. Thereupon, the wreck is pulled up by means of the pull cable.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 1975Date of Patent: June 28, 1977Assignee: Etat FrancaisInventors: Gerald Marc Albert Boisrayon, Gilbert Marius Henri Martin
