Abstract: The invention relates to a transponder which is mounted in a tire. The transponder includes at least a transponder chip and a transponder antenna and is embedded in a substrate. The substrate is connected to an inner side of the tire by a connecting structure. In order to provide a transponder with the longest possible service life, the substrate is decoupled from the inner side of the tire via a connecting structure in the form of a soft or gliding support in such a manner that no or only minimum mechanical stresses are transmitted to the substrate. The connecting structure is arranged between the substrate and the inner side of the tire.

Abstract: A pneumatic vehicle tire of radial construction, especially for automobiles, is provided. The tire has a profiled tread strip, a belt structure of at least two belt plies, bead regions having bead cores, and a carcass having load-carrying members of steel cord. In the tire the carcass forms a C-ply construction and contains steel cords of three or five steel filaments, which all have the same diameter of 0.12 to 0.1 5mm.

Abstract: A reinforcing cord for a belt ply or a carcass ply of a pneumatic vehicle tire is provided and comprises a core filament and four to six ply filaments. The core filament is comprised of an elastically or plastically deformable polymeric material, or is encased with such a material, which fills the space surrounded by the ply filaments and/or penetrates into the gaps between the ply filaments.
