  • Patent number: 12246687
Abstract: An electromechanical actuator for a motor vehicle brake, comprising an electric motor absorbing a nominal rated current (In), a screw-and-nut movement converter including a screw with an axis (AX) extending in a longitudinal direction and a nut supported by the screw, and comprising at least one elastic return member for varying the resistance to forward motion in the longitudinal direction of an element being transferred between the nut and the screw at a predetermined position, in order to modify the nominal rating (In) of the current flowing through the motor while the element is being transferred to the predetermined position.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 5, 2020
Date of Patent: March 11, 2025
    Assignee: HITACHI ASTEMO FRANCE
Inventors: Gérard Luu, Christophe Dupas, Alberto Molinaro, Cédric Guignon, Marc Ayache
  • Patent number: 12049953
Abstract: An epicyclic step-down gear for an electric parking brake, this step-down gear comprising a drive shaft, at least one step-down stage and a cylinder which forms a screw/nut system with an outer planet gear of this step-down gear. This step-down gear comprises at least one axial force transmission component which is positioned between a bearing ring of the drive shaft and the cylinder so as to transmit axial forces applied via either the bearing ring or the cylinder to either this bearing ring or this cylinder. Such an axial force transmission component prevents the drive shaft from buckling by defining an axial force transmission path which is radially eccentric.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 2, 2020
Date of Patent: July 30, 2024
    Inventors: Marc Ayache, Thierry Pasquet

  • Patent number: 10688980
Abstract: A brake caliper, including a caliper body including a base bearing a piston with a cylindrical external face and a movement conversion mechanism for moving this piston translationally in a main direction, this base including a cylindrical internal face in which the piston slides. The caliper includes three steel rollers interposed between the internal face of the base and the external face of the piston while being oriented along the main axis and distributed about this axis. Each roller is housed in a groove formed at the internal face of the base parallel to the main axis while being open radially towards the main axis, each cylinder extending out of this groove towards the main axis.

Abstract: A brake calliper, including a calliper body including a base bearing a piston with a cylindrical external face and a movement conversion mechanism for moving this piston translationally in a main direction, this base including a cylindrical internal face in which the piston slides. The calliper includes three steel rollers interposed between the internal face of the base and the external face of the piston while being oriented along the main axis and distributed about this axis.
