  • Publication number: 20090177126
Abstract: The invention relates to a muscle stimulation device comprising a handle bar with a first and a second end, a motor which is arranged in a cavity in the handle bar and is coupled by means of a motor shaft to at least one eccentric body in order to set the muscle stimulation device vibrating by an unbalance of the eccentric body. According to the invention the eccentric body/ies has/have a common center of mass, which is at a different distance from the first end of the handle bar than it is from the second end of the handle bar. The invention furthermore relates to an exchangeable head for such a muscle stimulation device.

  • Patent number: 5963213
Abstract: A method for transforming a source digital image into a target digital image to produce an effect of warping including identifying pixel locations within the target image, identifying pixel locations within the source image associated with the pixel locations within the target image, and copying the pixel attribute values from a source neighborhood of each pixel location within the source image, the source neighborhood being defined by means of a source acceleration pixel template, into pixel attribute values for the corresponding pixel locations in a target neighborhood of each associated pixel location within the target image, the target neighborhood being defined by means of a target acceleration pixel template containing at least two pixel locations. A system for carrying out the method is also described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 5497435
Abstract: A digital signal encoding method including the steps of defining first and second components of an original digital signal on each of two scales, fractal-processing the two first components by conducting a comparison therebetween and generating an encoded digital signal including a representation of at least one of the smooth components and a representation of the result of the fractal-processing step.
