Marc Bodet has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Patent number: 7552932
Abstract: A vehicle air-suspension system, especially an air-suspension system designed as a partly closed system, and a method for operating the system are provided. The air-suspension system includes at least one compressed-air delivery device, a plurality of air-suspension bellows and valves constructed and arranged for control of the filling of one, several or all air-suspension bellows with compressed air discharged by the compressed-air delivery device. The method avoids an undesirably large pressure rise on the pressure-outlet side of the compressed-air delivery device as the effective delivery capacity of the compressed-air delivery device is automatically controlled as a function of the state defined by the arrangement of the valves.

  • Publication number: 20040129550
Abstract: A pressure-tight contact device, especially for use in a pressure-tight encapsulated motor of a compressor. The contact device includes a connector shell, which can be pressed onto an insulator and is fastened to the pressure-tight housing enclosing the motor. The motor is connected by means of electrical connecting leads to at least one contact pin. The pin passes through the insulator and a punched opening of a contact tab for connection to a connecting cable. The individual parts of the contact device are sealed relative to one another by means of O-rings. The connector shell has a shroud member which can be formed in various configurations desired by the user for connection to various types of connecting cables.

  • Publication number: 20030136614
Abstract: A full disk brake for a vehicle includes a rotor disk, which is attached to the vehicle wheel. Two friction disks are installed within a brake-clamping unit, facing each side of the rotor disk. The friction disks are secured in the direction of rotation, but are capable of being shifted in an axial direction. Brake lining segments are attached to both sides of the rotor disk. When the brake-clamping unit is actuated, a friction connection is established between the rotor disk and the friction disks. Air cooling channels, located between the brake lining segments, provide cooling air between the rotor disk and the friction disks directly at the point of origination. Moreover, the brake lining segments act as heat-insulating elements between the friction disks and the rotor disk, thus further reducing the heating of the rotor disk.
