    Abstract: A reflector lamp which is structurally compact in its axial direction has a light capsule surrounded by a tubular shield with electric leads which are anchored or fixed in a base at one end of the lamp with the leads structurally arranged to support opposite ends of the light capsule and urge the shield against a wall through which the leads extend adjacent said base.
