Patent number: 11839360Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to fluorescent imaging devices, systems, and methods for an endoscopic procedure, and in particular, indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescence. In some embodiments, a device for fluorescent imaging during an endoscopic procedure may include an attachment connectable to a distal end of an endoscope. The attachment may include a first filter alignable with a light source of the endoscope, and a second filter alignable with an imaging device of the endoscope. The first filter may be positionable such that in a first position the first filter is aligned with the light source, and in a second position the first filter is out of alignment with the light source. The second filter may be positionable such that in a first position the second filter is aligned with the imaging device, and in a second position the second filter is out of alignment with the imaging device.Type: GrantFiled: January 4, 2019Date of Patent: December 12, 2023Assignees: Boston Scientific Scimed, Inc., The Johns Hopkins UniversityInventors: Sritam P. Rout, Marc Chelala, Maria F. Torres, Kyle R. Cowdrick, Amir Hossein Soltanianzadeh, David M. Gullotti, Pankaj J. Pasricha, Nicholas J. Durr, Ryan V. Wales

Publication number: 20230016313Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to the field of medical devices and establishing access to body passageways. In particular, the present disclosure relates to devices, systems and methods to facilitate entry of an endoscopic accessory tool into and/or through patient-specific anatomies. For example, the devices, systems and methods of the present disclosure may transmit mechanical motion to the distal end of an endoscopic accessory tool to facilitate atraumatic access to tortuous or otherwise restricted anatomies.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 19, 2022Publication date: January 19, 2023Inventors: Marc Chelala, Sritam P. Patent number: 11540767Abstract: Some embodiments provide systems, assemblies, and methods of analyzing patient anatomy including providing an analysis of a patient's spine. The systems, assemblies, and/or methods can include obtaining initial patient data, and acquiring spinal alignment contour information. Further, the systems, assemblies, and/or methods can assess localized anatomical features of the patient, and obtain anatomical region data. The system, assemblies, and/or method can analyze the localized anatomy and therapeutic device location and contouring. Further, the system, assemblies, and/or method can output localized anatomical analyses and therapeutic device contouring data and/or imagery on a display.Type: GrantFiled: December 31, 2018Date of Patent: January 3, 2023Assignee: Globus Medical Inc.Inventors: David Michael Gullotti, Amir Hossein Soltanianzadeh, Nicholas Theodore, Edward Frederick Ruppel, III, Nicholas Griesmer Franconi, Sritam Parashar Rout, Saki Fujita, Marc Chelala, Kyle Robert Cowdrick, Maria Fernanda Torres

Publication number: 20220370146Abstract: Some embodiments provide systems, assemblies, and methods of analyzing patient anatomy, including providing an analysis of a patient's spine, and also analyzing the biomechanical effects of implants. In some embodiments, the systems, assemblies, and/or methods can include obtaining initial patient data, acquiring spinal alignment and contour information, acquiring flexibility and/or biomechanical information, registering patient anatomical landmarks of interest relative to fiducial markers, analyzing databases of measurements and patient data to predict postoperative patient outcomes. Further, in some embodiments, the systems, assemblies, and/or methods can assess localized anatomical features of the patient, and obtain anatomical region data. In some embodiments, the systems, assemblies, and/or methods can also analyze the localized anatomy and therapeutic device location and contouring.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 18, 2022Publication date: November 24, 2022Inventors: David Michael Gullotti, Amir Hossein Soltanianzadeh, Nicholas Theodore, Edward Frederick Ruppel, III, Saki Fujita, Nicholas Griesmer Franconi, Miguel Antonio Inserni, Jennifer Lin, Robert Li, Ali Uneri, Sritam Parashar Rout, Marc Chelala, Kyle Robert Cowdrick, Maria Fernanda Torres
