  • Patent number: 9316451
Abstract: A buffer locking assembly comprised of a carrier insert and buffer assembly where the carrier insert is nested in the rearward end of a bolt carrier of a bolt carrier assembly of a rifle weapon, such as an AR15/M4 rifle, wherein a novel carrier insert and buffer assembly interact during firing to align the buffer recoil spring, buffer assembly, carrier insert, and bolt carrier assembly when the bolt carrier assembly is reciprocated as the rifle is fired. The invention also includes a method for maintaining longitudinal alignment of the buffer assembly with the bolt carrier assembly.

  • Patent number: 9079284
Abstract: An automated knife sharpening and cleaning system is provided. The system comprises a container body that is configured to hold a utensil holder that is configured to releasably couple to the container body, the utensil holder configured to hold a utensil. The system further includes a drive assembly and a gripper assembly, the gripper assembly being coupled to the drive assembly and the drive assembly being configured to move the gripper assembly within the three-dimensional coordinate space of the container body. The system further includes a grinding assembly that is configured to sharpen the utensil. During operation of the system, the gripper assembly is configured to grip the utensil and remove the utensil from the utensil holder, hold the utensil within the grinding assembly during sharpening, and replace and release the utensil in the utensil holder once the sharpening is complete. Moreover, the system may clean and sanitize the utensil.

  • Publication number: 20140060311
Abstract: An improved gas key assembly for a fire arm, such as an AR 15 or a M4 rifle, having a gas key fastened by fasteners on a bolt carrier assembly where the gas key moves with the bolt carrier when the fire arm is fired, wherein the gas key has a slot for receiving a key element in the slot and the key element has a stem which is seated in the slot and a rail which overlays the fasteners to removably secure the gas key to the bolt carrier and holds gas key resisting unintended separation of the gas key from the bolt carrier. Also the invention includes a method for securing a gas key to a bolt carrier in such a fire arm.

  • Patent number: 4306572
Abstract: In a crop harvesting and threshing machine of the type utilizing at least one axial flow threshing and separating rotor with auger flighting attached to the forward end thereof and mounted within a generally cylindrical elongate rotor casing having an inner sidewall and an opposing outer sidewall there is provided an elongate inwardly projecting stripper plate attached to the outer sidewall and cooperative with the auger flighting as the rotor rotates to force crop material rearwardly and to prevent the stems of the crop material from moving initially upwardly toward the top of the rotor casing and thereby preventing a wrapping about the rotor shaft.

  • Patent number: 4250896
Abstract: In a crop harvesting and threshing machine of the type utilizing at least one axial flow threshing and separating rotor within a generally cylindrical elongate rotor casing there is provided an annular member fastened to a support member surrounding the front portion of the threshing rotor, a guide member fastened to the support member and contiguous with the annular member projecting linearly outwardly therefrom, a ramp section sloping rearwardly and outwardly affixed to the support member adjacent the guide member to direct the crop material from the guide member generally outwardly and upwardly towards the rear of the rotor casing into contact with a transport fin affixed to the top of the casing in an oblique angular relation therewith, thereby promoting the further rearward movement of crop material as it is transported axially about the threshing rotor.
